Well after spending considerable time and money, I have had to drop my original score on this model. The quality is poor at best. Extensive work was required to rig the V-Tail and the cheap pushrods (which were replaced) could not handle the task. Drilling and running carbon fiber tubes along the boom was required to allow sufficient movement of the control surfaces and even then, there are small issues with clearance. Would I recommend this to a newer flyer? Simple answer, NO. The lack of instructions coupled with the oversights of the design team leave a lot of guess work for the builder. If you have some building experience, then perhaps tackle this over a few weekends, but as it stands, it is not a great value to anyone. If I had not have invested so much time and effort into customizing the original plane, I would have scrapped it and wrote off the 50 I paid for it and washed my hands of the whole ordeal.

A few issues with this model. It is actually the FlyFLy Butterfly glider distributed by HobbyKing. 1st issue is that the wing joiners are badly aligned and required drilling out for the carbon fiber rod to be inserted. 2nd issue was once the wings were fitted together, the gap between the 2 wing panels was quite large (think Grand Canyon large) and required a lot of sanding and trimming to get them to line up to an acceptable standard, and even then, a layer of fiberglass cloth was layered over the joint to ensure a strong fit. 3rd issue is the recommended servos from HobbyKing. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT use any servo with a overall height greater than 20mm or it will not fit into the fuselage. A micro servo will not fit, and therefore you must use a sub-micro sized servo in order to all the wing to seat properly to the fuselage. Other than those issues, it is a nice glider for the price and will make a good slope soarer on those days with lighter winds.

I really like this size model..!

It would be nice to know where the CG is on the model a little note in the model kit would help a lot.!

It does have it's draw back it turns out tail heavy I had to add over a 1.5 oz. of lead shot in the nose of it to get it to balance.
It needs to have some "thinner and more streamlined" tail stock used for the V tail. The tail stock has a very blunt thick leading edge.
