These rods are good for pinning foam models that have had a rapid approach to the ground and require some hot glue love. Simply cut off length requiired and hot glue into the area to be repaired. Use a white board marker on the end of the rod sticking out and push it against the piece to be glued, this will give you an accurate place to create the attach point of the pin.Then simply create the hole at the mark and hot glue pieces together. This creates a very strong joint at the breakage. Hope you don't have to do too many of these :)

I did 5 spars with 10 of these tubes and I used them on a wing (130cm.) from pylon flying at 300km / h. no problem of torsion wing. For this application are very suitable.
