good camera if you know how to tune it

This is a good camera, but only if you tune it the right way. Following the settings from youtube videos, this camera does very well in nearly every situation and thanks to wdr.
Its maybe not best looking video, but you can see every opstacle very well. So i would suggest this cam only for fpv use.

Not sure I like this camera.

First the pins are not the same as all other hs1177 so you have to replace your cable or switch your pins around in the connector.

Second, the OSD device provided is a pain in the neck and I still haven't been able to connect to it and tune my camera.

Third there is something goofy about the focal length; I cannot get a 1.8 lens to focus. if you have a ring on the lens it wont screw in far enough to focus and if you take the ring off it will focus but there is still a gap between the lens and the case so it's not locked in place.

Probably will not buy it again.

Seams a realy nice "all situation" cam for reasonable money.
THE MANUAL IS CRAP - DUE IT DOES NOT INCLUDE ANITHING ABOUT THE OSD PROGRAMMING (dip switch board) -> therefore 2 stars only.
Once you figured out HOW TO - teh Cam is GREAT !

Originally I was using my Mobius camera to fly FPV on my plane. I've since built a quad and wanted to try FPV again. I wanted a smaller camera so opted for this. I didn't know how bad the Mobius was!! (for FPV) This thing is awesome! It connected seamlessly to the Quanum Elite video transmitter. The OSD menu key is extremely helpful for setting the camera up. The fact I can focus it using the lock ring and twist is brilliant. The image quality is excellent along with the price. First flight was at dusk. This camera can almost see at night, something the Mobius could never do. Only issue I can think of is the lens cap. It falls off easily and is not a great fit. But heck, I can live with that!

Didnt test it. But based on reviews it is one of the better / best FPV cameras. Will do a review later.
