Sadly another one here with a failure. After setting it up no issue, on full throttle during flight it made noise which I thought was the prop spinning. It then quickly died and I had to land. No response from throttle it was dead dead, did not last one flight. Swapped out to another ESC from another plane, no issues and been flying happy since.

I have order several batteries from Hobby City, but I love Rhino the most. I am planning to use this battery with my Logo400 Vbar, Aveox36/24/3. I do not have the reason to go for the cheaper even from Rhino itself R3700-20-6 while it is only usd.3 different in price. This is 25/37C but you gain a lighter weight at marginal price increase. I am sure that I do not go wrong with this battery. I am order now..............

Corona 40amp Brushless Speed Controller 2-6s:
ordered 2 units to use with a Polaris with outrunner D2826-62200 unit. The first unit would not do throttle linearization, failed to report the proper number of LiPo cells connected (yes, fully charged), and because it has no PWM or degrees advance settings, would give the motor only about 1/2 of its rated power.

I bench tested the second unit to find out if I just had a bad first unit. Second unit was worse than the first. Would allow no settings of any parameters in TEST MODE....just won't go into test mode. Upon startup, it will not tell you number of LiPo connected. Hooked up motor and tested with Wattmeter for 2 seconds at 1/2 throttle. Motor spun, then ESC flashed and caught fire with Wattmeter showing 60 watts.

I have build over 35 Outrunner machines, never had this much trouble with an ESC. They are literally dangerous to operate. With no adjustment of PWM or degree advance, they will probably operate any brushless at 1/2 to 3/4 of its rated power. Despite the low price and high spec rating, put your money on something that actually works.

Bad controller, if the transmitter is not on, it will start the motor at full throttle. Strange twitch motor, although the gas at zero. Maybe it is possible to flash the ESC?

Just received this ESC and it didnt last long enough to get the plane off the ground, I used it to upgrade my Bixler for FPV, the ESC was programmed for high and low throttle and at the field it wouldn't turn the motor and it got very hot, probarbly lucky it didn't last long enough to get into the air or it would have been a lot worse, I will go back to the more popular brands of ESC's. The battery used was 3S 2200maH. Motor used D2826-6 2200kv Outrunner Motor

Nice ESC. Pleasantly surprised that it comes with Deans on battery leads and bullets on motor end, both preinstalled. I use XT-60 exclusively so I'll be changing out the Deans. Also comes with programming instructions.
