Used these with 0.6mm and 0.8mm wire, both worked well. For crimping, I simply taped a little hex wrench to the inside of a pair of pliers and then crimped the tube on both ends, the hex wrench on opposite sides. Purpose of the hex wrench is to nicely coin the tube with the wires for solid attachment.
