Quite a nice kit. However, in it's "out of the box" state the fuselage is no way near strong enough. In particular the pylon area that supports the wing mounting and the tail boom. To strengthen the pylon I carefully drilled down through it in 3 places, slid cocktail sticks into the holes and cyno'ed them (did the same to the pilot!). For the boom I used some of the balsa waste to laminate pieces along both sides and shaped by light sanding. Choice of motor is critical as the diameter of the prop is limited. I don't think EDF option is practical as they are very power hungry and flight times are therefore compromised. I ended up using a high KV motor, a cut down prop and a 500maah 3s battery (2s for indoor flying) I found when shrinking up the covering on the wing tips that it distorted the tip bending it upwards. I left it as is as upswept tips add to stability and you see it on many aircraft- so long as they're equal!

The balsa looks to be of good quality, and the laser cutting is precise.

Overall fun kit to build (got the kit version). Trick is to build it as light as possible. There is only so much clearance between the motor and tail boom so prop options are limited. I wish the photos showed it ready to fly with the battery, esc, servos etc installed as it Lost some of its cool factor. I would strengthen the boom or replace wit carbon fiber, I think there is some warping if you don't. Definitely a light to no wind plane.

i've upped my rating to 4 stars, as i am enjoying the build, but it would still be better with the motor mount and undercarriage; even so it is a nice kit... added 2 files to the site - one of the included instructions, and the other of my partly built kit to show it off :)

Finally received one. Package was perfect and no damage to kit was done.

Nice fittings and quality for this price.

Recommend this kit as alternative for pnf version as my mini-stick pnf came with warped fuselage and wing which made it long build to get flying properly.

have just recieved my first kit (Ive ordered 3) laser cutting is good balsa ok, quite usable but obviously a pack containing the undercarriage and carbon rods and a few other things was missing!!!

Useing superglue I had the bare framework built in an hour..I had to use my years of experiance to work out what goes where as the instructions left a lot to be desired..the english was a bit fantasist here and there...but worst of all the quite good photos were far far too small to see clearly which is idiotic as a lot of effort was put into them but they were all nicely printed but far too small to be really

usefull. But on the good side I loved the quick build...I hope my other 2 kits will contain all the material.

I got my kit yesterday. It did not take me long to press the buy button when i discovered that the freigt was not to bad - that changed after a short time so the freight cost today is probaly 3 times higher.

All balsa and nothing else. There could have been some carbon rods and a piano landing gear plus micro wheels on the kit.
The box it was delivered in was filled to maximum 5pcnt of the volume. Another box could have saved a lot.

The balsa quality is fair, but far from what you would expect from Herr Engineering or Guillows making models in the same size range.

The wing is assembled except for the leading edge. There is a lot of sanding to be done to get the balsa surface smooth but that will maybe some weight loss ;-)
