Great little plane not a beginners model but one one for someone with some stick time (mind you its so light unless you actually crash into something solid you wont break it). On low rates its nice and smooth but switch them out and it will do the book. Its a bit fast for my small hall but I am sure could be flown in the bigger venues.
A word of caution if you haven't noticed the servos come with the molex micro connectors for the mini receivers.

Plane arrived quickly, in great shape, and was well packaged. I had ordered another airplane (nothing else) and both were placed in one big long box. Both arrived safely. arrived in 3 days (and I paid only about $8 shipping total) to Oregon.
So far this thing has been excellent. I have only been able to fly it with a nanotech 370mah 2s, which is much to heavy. It sport flies ok with this but doesnt have great vertical. Flight time is 6 min. I have a feeling that when i get a proper battery in it, it will fly much better. Just stripping the velcro off that I used to stick the batt in the cockpit made a big difference. I noticed i could tuck that huge battery under the cowl hatch and got rid of the velcro.

I have crashed this thing HARD x2. once on the pavement, I lost sight and orientation and I found it with the canopy off, and a little bending in the cowl. I only used a tiny bit of glue for the cowl in case i wanted to remove it and service it. Others have used magnets apparently. Nothing a little hot water and a tiny bit of glue can't fix. The spinner is great and has soaked up a lot of the pain, similar to the PZ UMs Beast/P-51 spinners, but bigger.
The wing is built very strong and I would say the build quality easily competes with the other UMs out there, if not better. VERY HAPPY. Cant wait to put a proper battery in.

Well,

I have to say that this little plane can get it on in a big way. I have flown this plane in winds of about 15 MPH and although it gets a little squirly, it has great recoverability. I fly with 75 percent differential on the elevator and ailerons and still get an unbeatable joy ride. I have placed a stripped down corona DSSS receiver in the Slick and have replaced the micro connectors with JR. Just a little trim out of the box and I am now burning batteries all over the sky!! Great little plane HK !! Keep it up.

Was hesitant to purchase this model after reading some comments of receiving model with damage from shipping and the color not as shown in the model's description.

My experience is that the model I received had beautiful dark blue paint and zero damaged received after shipping to Thailand. HK packing was excellent with double box suitable for international shipping.

Maybe this is a newer version but either way I will give 5 stars to HK for this product.

Got this in with no visible damage to packaging and everything was in great shape on the shipping. put it together and spun it up the first time, and the prop is visibly wobbling (a LOT). Factory-bent shaft. Nice. This sucks.

Me acaba de llegar y ya lo vole, un avion para divertirse un rato, vuela muy bien, le puse bateria de 250 mh y queda perfecto sin tener que balancear, vol al rededor de 7 minutos, lo unico malo es que hay que usar forzosamente receptor de microconector de DSM2 para que quepa el recerptor. Para mi Excelente!!!!!

I had a lot to say about the superb quality of this machine in the discussion section here, but held off on a review until I'd flown it myself...I can't stand 'reviews' from people who haven't actually done so.

This is a marvelous little machine! The fit and finish is better than my Parkzone micros. A lot of thought went into its design, from the solid one piece wing to the tiny internal pushrod guides in the empennage that prevent them from flexing. The only strong negative about the manual is its directive to glue the hatch covering the motor in place. Not only would doing that make repair or replacement a misery, you need to remove that hatch when inserting a battery along with the canopy. Four N35 neo magnets embedded in the nose and hatch hold it securely and eliminate any worry of losing the hatch in flight.

This is NOT a trainer, it's fast even at half throttle, eats up real estate quickly and is very neutrally stable, going exactly where it's pointed with no tendency to self correct. Getting the CG right is critical; mine still needs a gram or two up front when using the 15 gram Thunder Power 250mah 2S 25C pack, which is a great choice for the Slick with terrific power delivery.

I'm disabled and though I got several successful flights today I'm going to hold off flying this at the parking lot I fly from for now since it's surrounded by obstacles that make trimming fl

Muito bom, chegou sem danos! embalagem muito forte, mas o motor no segura no torq, ainda no voei apenas testei o empuxo, vou procurar voar em alguma quadra, o acabamento muito bom! parece muito com os aero micro da e-flight!
