A blast to fly, my favourity micro plane. Strongly suggest the Nano Tech 2S 300 mAh to get the right CG and the FrSky VD5M RX so that flaperons can be programmed. 9 min flight time with the above battery.

Great little plane. The build quality is not the greatest but I managed to fix it. The elevator was rubbing and was crooked, and the rudder linkage wasn't properly set up, I had to re-do it on the end.. it's still a bit odd how it sticks out so much. Once fixed and in the air, flies very nice! It doesn't like the wind too much, and given the big wingspan it catches wind drafts easily and goes straight up. I'm intermediate and I flew with no problem, but it's definitely not a beginner plane, it needs quite some speed to keep going. I taped a 10 cent coin to the front for balance since it's tail-heavy. Ensure you set up the channels properly if using OrangeRX receiver. On my Devo10 transmitter I had to reverse the Elevator channel.. pull up was "nose down".. almost lost the plane.

It's pretty good, the quality is excellent and the level of spare parts too.

If it is true that it is easier to break than an EPO `s airplane but is quite light and very stable flies. The battery space is small but no problem.

Wow. What a great micro. Takes off in a couple of feet. Enough power to climb almost vertical. If you configure as suggested, it is light in the nose. I went with the Orange R415 receiver. It tucks into the nose cavity with room for the Turnigy Nano 300 mah 2S (as opposed to the recommended 180 mah 2S). I also changed the wheels to the Superlight 5 spoke D40 H10. (HK part number SL5-D40H10). They add a little more weight to the nose and allow easy take-offs and landings on dirt roads! Makes the model look a little more like a bush plane with the oversized wheels! So I didn't have to add any nose weight with the bigger battery and bigger wheels - and have a model that will fly longer and can handle rougher ground for take-offs and landings. Great value! Too bad I can't post a picture here! I'll take a look and see if I can find an appropriate forum.

I bought the Telemicro. Very impressed by the initial appearance, but a little concerned based on other reviews that this plane is easy to break. I'm having a little trouble with the CG. The instructions say 100 to 107 mm from the tip of the spinner. That seems a little far forward on the wing, even with the clear "leading edge slats" installed. The Turnigy 2S 300 mAh is a better fit than the recommended 180 mAh. With the ESC mounted as far forward as it will go, and the 300 mAh battery pushed up to the firewall, the CG is 113 mm behind the spinner. Even with the heavier battery, I'll need a bit of weight on the nose to get the CG further forward. Does anyone have an accurate CG measurement from the forward edge of the wing with the "leading edge slats" installed? I measure 24 mm with the heavier battery and no additional weight. It has been too rainy for flying, so I haven't tested it yet.

Not for a beginner. Unless you like fixing foam. The tail especially loves to break. I've repaired it 4 times already. The wing, 2 times. The fuselage, 3 times. Usually from 6-8 foot drops.

But that being said, it flies smooth on calm days. It can do moderate acrobatics and is simply fun to fly.

good electronic

BUT

not solid plane, not accuracy, bad slow flight
ultimately expensive for the quality. Prefer e-flite carbon cub not much more expensive (with umx receiver) and steals much much better

This plane flies very well and stable. Requires very little set up to fly and it has very high quality build. But it is fragile. It cannot take a rough landing. Use 5 minute epoxy for repairs rather than the included adhesive. Strengthen the main plane and leading edges with reinforced tape. Wrap the tail end of the fuselage also. Not for beginners, but a lot of fun in a small package.

Flys great but needed about 3grams nose weight added. Used 25pcnt expo on ailerons as they were very responsive and added 15pcnt expo and 10degrees extra travel to elevator. Flight times over 5mins with 180mah nano-tech. Definatly an outdoor plane has plenty of throttle dose need a little down thrust on motor to stop climbing tendancy on and above half throttle. Great plane only issue was that the battery cover came off due too loose catch.
