E-Tomcat X-Tail 2.5 Metre Full Carbon F5J/Sport Electric Glider w/Flaps ARF (Red/White)

The E-Tomcat X-Tail glider has been designed for the intermediate to experienced model flyer. It is very fast, agile, and very maneuverable and has been designed with F5J competitions in mind but is also great for sport flying. It will fly in virtually all conditions which makes it an all-round contender in light or strong wind conditions. Clean and with the flaps set for speed the Tomcat will fly like a rocket, set the camber or crow braking then the Tomcat will fly slowly or make precise landings. The wing has an elliptical planform which gives the E-Tomcat a very wide speed envelope with no nasty habits at slow speeds. A very versatile and fantastic electric glider that you will never want to stop flying.

This new generation of slope glider is manufactured to a very high standard with this being the full carbon version which gives it enormous torsional strength and stiffness. The wings are hollow molded and again are full carbon and come in 2 parts for easy transportation with a square carbon wing joiner, also the fully carbon tail section is removable. The finish is outstanding, it is a smooth high gloss gel-coat finish with pre-painted graphics, it looks stunning. The Tomcat has ailerons, elevator, rudder, and flaps which will require a minimum of a 6ch radio with mixing so that you can program in camber for different flight modes and crow braking for pinpoint landings. Hardware includes a ballast tube so that you can weight the glider up in windy conditions, pushrods and clevises, control horns, wing and tail joiner, servo plates, and covers.
