I should haave put a stabiliser on it first and only flight in a light wind 8 mph ish with standard throws and expo aand recommended c of g I found it very unstable and it was pushed all over the sky 30 second flight then blown in to the ground un repairable. so In future will only fly this sort of model in calm conditioned pitty as it is well made and looked good

Nice little plane, like all small craft it has a predisposition to fall in at low speed, keep a bit of downprop on and land with plenty of momentum and all is well. Flat spins nicely if a little quick, cant get battery far enough back for my liking, very light. I always reinforce the gear board with epoxy and haven't had any trouble, its so light the gear hasn't dented the fuse, (football field, winter, bit bumpy). Not for the novice as its quite twitchy and will require some experience for repair. Using 60 - 100 expo on all surfaces, and you need to! Setup with Aerodrive SK3 - 2830-1130kv and a 9X6 APC prop, unlimited vertical, takes off in 3M. Recommended.

Nice model, arrived fast from west coast warehouse, went together easy and the instruction manual was pretty good, my build is; NTM 28-36 prop drive motor, 7/4 airscrew prop, HXT900 servos, orange receiver/stabilizer, Zippy compact 4s 1000mah battery, ESC H.King 50amp, flew it in 5 to 7 mph wind, no problem, good model for the price

Der Flieger ist 1A verarbeitet! Ich fliege die Maschine mit einem Turnigy L2215J-900 kv Brushless Motor (200w) und einer 9X6er Luftschraube. Der Flieger geht damit senkrecht ohne Limit... macht wirklich Spa! Auf Grund der Gre ist der eigentlich nur bei null Wind zu Fliegen... Ich kann den Flieger nur empfehlen.

Sehr schnes Modell von hervorragender Qualitt und super finish. Alles lsst sich gut montieren. Habe einen 2830 mit 35Amp-Regler und einen 3S Nano Lipo mit 1800mah eingebaut. Leistung ist genug da. Habe gestern den Erstflug durchgefhrt. Das Modell lies sich problemlos bei uns auf dem Platz von der Graspiste starten und auch ohne berschlag landen. Die Flugeigenschaften sind sehr gut, Loopings , Rollen und scharf geflogene Kurven waren kein Problem. Die Angaben des Schwerpunktes passen genau, das Modell hat einen super geradeaus Flug, man braucht nicht korrigieren. TOP Modell!

Excellent little Extra! Mine is flying with a 3s1p 2200 mAh lipo, DT750 brusless, 11x5.5 prop, 30A ESC and 4 HXT900. The battery and engine are a bit overkill. Total weight is 715gr, I get like 1100 gr of thrust (unlimited vertical) and flying time is 15 min. Someone complained about the wings being kept with a rubber band: wingspan is less than a meter, I just glued the wings on. Do not expect a 3d airplane, because it is a scale model of an Extra 300: is not forgiving, needs a relative high speed and stalls easily. With that in mind, it flies smoothly and behaves like a pattern airplane. The only fault I found is the tail skid, it may broke the rudder in a hard landing.

Fabulous little sport plane. I have a stabilising Orange Rx fitted, otherwise it gets tossed about in anything over 6-7m.p.h. winds. Flies straight as a die with the stab even in 12 m.p.h. wind, so a Rx/stab is a really good investment. It's a fast plane, and you have to watch your airspeed on slow turns for the landing approach. This maybe a problem on a small field with tall trees about, also you'll need to fit bigger wheels if the ground is rough. Might be good for proper 3D too, but dunno 'cos I keep chickening out!

My setup is 4x9g servos and a 25A Turnigy Plush. Ideal motor is the SK3 2836 1020Kv with a 9x6/10x5 prop on a 1300MAh lipo...gives about 5-6 minutes with time to spare.

I recently purchased and built this model.

It arrived in good order and well packaged.

Flies really well and is a fun little sprots plane with a few tweeks.

There are a few critical adjustments to make if you are thinking of buying which i have listed in detail elsewhere.

These planes fly great, very nimble and fast. Great quality on the covering. I recommend drilling out the landing gear holes and using larger screws with nuts. The included screws will not hold. The control hinges should also be replaced. Use a ziptie to hold the wings together, not the rubber bands. I use an 8x6sf prop and 1000mah 3s battery and 1200kv motor.
