Easy enough to set up and when used with the combined stabilizer and receiver (Orange RX3S) very stable to fly. If fitting this receiver then you may find that you will have to remove a very small square of foam from the underneath of the canopy to enable a snug magnetic fit. Not too difficult a task and I'm only talking about 2mm or less. On set up when getting your elevators/ailerons level by adjusting the push rods and links, don't clip the plastic links together until such time as you're completely happy they are level. They are fragile and as I have discovered can break easily if handled too often. Thus far I've only hand launched the plane with the wheels off and then landed in longish grass. Its reasonably fast but easy to slow down into wind for a soft landing. At this prices what's not to like really. If I have a criticism then its the fact that the paint/covering is easily removed if the plane is knocked. Don't crank up the RX3X too much if you use it, less is more in this case. Oh and you do need glue, albeit a small amount which is supplied.

THIS MODEL IS NOT AN EASY ONE TO SET UP OR FLY, BE WARNED! DO NOT fly this model with the CG at 62mm as per the (useless) manual. I have found the true CG location the hard way, it is at 50mm from the wings Leading Edge. This model has a steel pellet of 25grams BALAST! behind the motor's firewall, at the bottom where the motor cables go into the fus, it can easily be found and removed with a metal pointy hook or similar. I removed that dead weight and carved open the cavity where the ESC goes to accommodative a 800 mAh 3s battery, more power and saved almost an ounce of weight. The battery is quite forward but it doesn't touch the cowl. I'm using a GWS 8040 orange prop and prop saver. This model is SUPER TOUGH! I've never seen anything like it, it too a heck of a crash nose in full throttle into the ground only to sustain minor damage. Amazing. I find the elevator not very effective in rather fast turns, I think those two elev tabs aren't very effective when the wing shadows them, but in the other hand when the model goes fast in a straight line they can be very sensitive, I need more flights to stablish what's wrong there. I have attached a photo showing the balast location REMBER the CG MUST BE exactly at 50mm from LE, nor less nor more! this model might not recover from a dive if the CG is too forward, ask me how I know. I home this info helps others not to crash theirs, it

This corsair is flown stock with 2s 1000 mah. But the CG is wrong in the manual. It says 62mm from leading edge. Please do not follow it. Go 50mm from the leading edge, which is the first panel line that isn't all the way to the wing tip, not the 2nd one. It is tail heavy with the default stock cg and you're bound to crash. Once the CG is set, it is a nice and easy flier. Also make sure to adjust the elevator so you get more throws then set your dual rates. Default elevator travel may not be enough. Landing this corsair is not easy. Throw away your old beliefs that low wing warbirds must land with throttle. This warbird is small and so agile and speedy, that you must bleed the speed off when coming in for landing, so cut the throttle before you land and flare. It is hard to land without bouncing but try to minimize it as little as possible. The only cons with this plane is the lack of rudder control, but considering it's tail heavy nature, adding tail/rudder will further move the CG backwards to be even more tail heavy and you'll have to compensate with more weight in the nose, resulting in wasted useless weight. That is of course unless you modify this to run 3s (digging out some foam). The battery compartment may be lose and velcro is out of the question, so use rubberbands to thicking your lipos so they would not slide out so easily during flight. If you use 2s most likely y

Looks pretty and flies nice and straight on 2s. Ploblem is the paint flakes off, even the slipstream blows it off. I will have to repaint the whole model.

Really nice plane does need some weight up front to balance out properly. Is a little hard to orientate in the air due to colour scheme but easily to remedy with some paint. It does handle high speed crashes really well as I found out when I became disorientated and crashed it at full speed into the ground with only some paint missing.
Really happy with the sturdy design and very scale like flying for such a small plane.

Great little plane. With 1000ma 2S battery pushed as far forward as possible, mine flew with very minor trimming. COG is 50mm from leading edge of wing, not 62mm as stated in manual. Elevator need very little movement. Performs well with a 7x4 single blade prop. (three blade broke on first bad landing). A pleasure to fly, looks great in the air,but best left for experienced pilots. Undercarriage is next to useless, needs a very smooth surface, best to hand launch. It is easy to install rudder servo if required. Will even handle a bit of wind. Landing is a breeze. Highly recommended.

Great plane. Quiet and easy to fly. Using 3 s 1000 mah. Push the battery as far forward as possible. Once you have had a few flights and not worried about it being pristine put
some orientation colours on it.

Giving it 5 stars, because it's a very decent airplane for that price! ORDER A SERVO FOR RUDDER RIGHT AWAY. There's many negatives, but c'mon, it's cheap, it take only a few minutes to put together (truly fast), it does look very good and fly relatively well, with the rudder option installed. My propeller was perfectly balanced, and motor is quiet and more than powerful enough. All that being said, here's the negatives (but again, it still deserve 5 stars for the price): Paint flake just by looking at it. Landing gear is flimsy, and bouncy. Mine was barely glued in place, but quick epoxy job fixed it. Won't last long though, may need replacement soon. Battery fit in a small space in the nose, but cannot use velcro... Doesn't move in flight though. YOU HAVE TO install the optional rudder servo (a $3 HXT500 is good enough) otherwise take-off and landings are scary. Rudder makes a huge difference. All linkages for rudder are included for it, but you have to bend the linkage yourself for the servo horn. Doesn't like the wind too much so maiden yours in no wind first. I think if they had installed the rudder for us, that would be a $99 airplane easy. Even if that's a 10 minutes job.
