So this plane arrived 4 days after I ordered her. Wow Wow she is beautiful. Well packed and prefect condition. It is so big and they posted it for $14 us. Now postage has gone up to $40. So it will be a while before I build this. I have many ARF to build before her. But I just had to have one!

OK, a follow up on my earlier review, upon closer inspection, the formers are very thin, probably alright but marginal. The stabilizer is very flexible, stripping the covering and adding C/F rod would be a good idea, or external guy wires. I was planning to re-design the wing mounting system, just as well as it was completely un-useable the way it was. The wing holes are 10mm different to the blind nuts in the fuse. If you are not comfortable with actual building/modifying rather than assembly I would not reccomend this plane, still ok but not for a newbie.

F me sideways! what great value! I don't normally buy HK stuff due to quality problems but I was tempted by this one, very glad I bought it. The fuz looks pretty good, I'll change how the wings bolt on to something better, the flaps are only hinged with the covering, which would last only a handfull of flights, all other hinges are C.A, so I'll change all those to dubro pinned 1/4 scale. None of the hinges are glued which is great, I hate having to cut away at a brand new model. No pilots, so you'll have to supply your own. The large servo arm for the rudder isn't included, so you'll need one to suit your servo spline. The control surface horns are for a 46 size model, so you'll need to buy dubro 1/4 size horns. Cowl is excellent quality. All markings were applied already (not shown in pic) I like how the tail section all locks in together. I don't think the landing gear wires will hold up, so oleo's will be required and a bit of engineering to make them mounted. Overall great value, a bit of correcting to be done, but very pleased with it.

I've flown this a few times and have to say she fly's great. I was originally going to put a RCG 26 in it but changed my mind and decided to put a PTE36 in instead. This thing is a rocket and way over powered. The engine mount is already pre-drilled for a DLE30 or PTE36 so if you plan on putting something else in it you will have to glue a piece of plywood to the front of the motor mount so you can drill holes in the correct configuration. With the big wings she will float in the air and you can land it fairly slow even with out the flaps. The only problem i have had with it was one of the landing gear wires broke on the forth landing which was my best landing. You will have to invert any engine to get it to stay hidden in the cowl. This has a narrow cowl so if you go gas i would recomend something with a rear carb so you dont have it sticking out the side. My PTE engine has a rear exhaust so the only cutting on the cowl was the bottom.

I've yet to assemble my one of these but I intend to put a coverted weed eater engine (31cc) into it. My engine has a rear box exhaust and carby and looks as if it will fit very nicely into the cowling with only the underside needing to be opened up for cooling, exhaust egress etc.

Upon opening the box and inspecting the model I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the model in more complete than shown in the pics - that is my model at least has all manner of markings applied on it. I was expecting to have to make my own marklings for it but now I don't have too!

Good work Hobbyking!

Bought this plane not expecting to much but was surprised with what i got, looks like it is a CMPro model. Good covering and the cowl is great quaility. A 30cc seems maybe a little big for this, was going to put a 26cc zenoah in but too heavy so will go for a 1.20 4s. Overall good quality and easy to put together.

I have purchased a HK PT19 from the Australian Warehouse and I am very impressed with the build quality of the model. It has been one of the easiest electric conversions I have done. I have set it up with a Scorpion 4035-330Kv motor, 16x6 or 17x6 wood prop and will power it with 8 cells (Turnegy 5A-40c). Hope to finish the assembly this week and will report on the initial flights.

Bought 2 from the USA warehouse, 1 for spare parts. Completed as 10 cell electric (2 3000mah 20c zippies). 15 flights (5 minute), 1 crash so far. After 3 flights disabled the flaps and removed 2 Hitec HS-325HB servos for weight saving of 105g. Plane is 180g over spec max of 4600g but flies very light. Rolls to a stop under 50 feet.

This is my first encounter with High Voltage (HV) electric propulsion and the spark arrester wire coming out of the HV 80amp Delux opto ESC, that's annoying to use. It is a long 6 1/2 inches from the motor mount to the front of the cowl. I wanted an HV motor with a long can. Selected a AeroDrive SK-3 5065 - 275kv (no longer listed) maxable 2050 watts @ 12 cell. With an undersized 16x8 prop I see 1850 watt. I'm preoccupied with weight, thus this undersized setup. But it will climb vertically and fly scale at 1/2 throttle. Built a movable battery tray that when screwed down 1 inch back from the fire wall balances the 3 standard servos at the end of the tailcone.

I needed afer market servo arms. The arm slots are large enough to bury the push rod connection within the wing and fuse for more servo travel. All horn connections are outer most hole. Settled on minimum surface displacements: 15mm ailerons, 20mm elevator, and 30mm rudder. 10pcnt differential, 35pcnt negitive EXPO, and 15pcnt aileron-rudder mix. Does perfect slow barrel rolls without much stick

I just started to build this plane and i must say, it's a nice plane and should go together nicely. It didn't show any decals in the pictures so I was surprised when i opened the box and the wings, fuse and cowl had decals already installed. I really like that each elevator has it's own servo mounted in the tail section with solid linkage rods. Very easy to install. The rudder servo is mounted in the tail section of the fuse and you need a large servo arm to make work. It shows that one comes with the plane but mine was missing along with 2 of the linkage rods and 3 out of 4 wheel stops. It's an easy fix but i would have liked to have had all the parts from the start. The covering was tight with just a few wrinkes. I am going to put a RCGF 26 in it. Lots of room to make this gas, glow or electric. The wing gets glued together and uses 4 screws to put it on. The only reason i didn't give this 5 stars was because of the missing parts. Great plane for the money!!!
