I was very nervous about buying these goggles. Or any goggles. Some people love them and some people are disapointed and upset with them. I read everything I could about them...and it still felt torn. How long is short range? What is the picture really like? I'm going to tell you about mine....

I love it!!:-)

Out in an open field with the TX on a 2 meter wooded pole I was able to walk ( down a gentle hill ) and the picture broke up a bit at about 500 meters. By 550 it was gone. Now, I don't now why I did it but I bent the antenna from upwards to sideways....The picture snapped back!! As far as I know, it shouldn't. But, it did.

I have been using it on my HK Dragonfly. The picture has been ok. Not wonderful. It is hard to guess the range in the air but I would say well over 500 meters. I chicken out and bring in back then. I have an HK EPP FPV but I want to feel safe before I use my Fat Sharks on it.

I gave it a lot of thought and before bought a patch or Clover or whatever, I got another stock antenna; it came from HK today. I have only tried it out in my home this morning but I can see a big difference. First, with the original antenna and then with the new one. The picture is much sharper with the replacement. I could see it straight away.

Before, it would send a reasonable picure through 3 walls of my home and out into the street. Now, the picture is bet

With the addition of a Fatshark RCV922 camera this "IS" a "Plug an Play" system. 2 or 3s Tx power, 400 meters range, great quality picture. Better than I expected ! DOES loose picture (NO Blue screen) "snow" through a lot of turns. Replacing antenna with IBCrazy Skew Plannar & Clover Leaf to resolve this problem and increase distance. I would recommend this as a base set up to anyone.

Postage from HK to UK 3 days ;-) UK customs to me 2 weeks and 27GBP, 14 duty, 13GBP collection charge ! ! ! :-(

I was a little disappointed with my goggles, it comes with a dead pixel, a little green point. It looked like a refurbished product. But, I prefer to stay with this to ship to HK and wait for a new one. The battery system sucks, the volume of ears jack is to loud. Otherwise everything works fine. In my opnion 3,5 or 4 crowns.
