Fiberglass is a weird material. It doesn't have the feel of the standard canopy for the HK450. It feels brittle, and like it is about to snap in half. It is, however, more stylish, in my view.



You do need to drill the holes yourself. Determine the position for the holes by test-fitting it on the chopper *WITH* a battery mounted. Also, use a 5mm drill bit to *carefully* drill the holes.



When taken care of, the canopy will stay nice and fresh, but there may be some paint-chipping due to wear. On the other hand, at $6 a piece, it's not expensive to replace. The more expensive ones may not have the paint chipping issue, but I don't know for sure.

The canopy itself seems ok but the paint is brittle and cracks when the canopy flexes just a little bit. There are better canopies available from HK for about the same price.

El precio es bajo pero la calidad lo es ms.

El mio lleg roto y la simetra en el dibujo de la cabina la debi de realizar un tuerto.

Nice light weight canopy. Paint finish on this is nice and smooth, fiberglass is clean.
