With the sock antennas the reception is poor. Especially in a quad frame.
With extended stock 2.4ghz antennas soldered to the receiver the reception is a little bit better, but still poor.
I don't trust this receiver any more in anything.

Very nice receiver. Already using two of them with my Futaba T7C.
One on a 250 quad, the other on a 450 quad.

Pros:
- Very very small and lightweight!
- Binding procedure is very easy and worked right away
- Supports CPPM and S.BUS.
- Up to now no problems with signal loss. For flights on sight (did not test FPV yet) definitely enough range.

Room for improvement:
- RSSI channel would be nice.

I'm using this receiver with my Futaba T8FG and it is working great for LOS (line of sight) flying. Haven't tested it with FPV yet.
Antennas are a bit flimsy. One fell off after a light touch with my finger. Replaced it with a wire of same length and i'm still getting good range.
The manual tells you to hold the button for 6 seconds to change the mode (S.Bus - CPPM), but this is not correct. 2 - 3 seconds worked for me.
Will be getting more of these.

I installed this on my vendetta. It lost signal at less than 100m when I had already flown over 400m so im not sure why. Luckily I found my vendetta even though it crashed into a large tree.
I tested it again in an open field incase it was a one off. It was fine for about 5 mins and then I lost control again at about 50m away.
Maybe mine is faulty but I wouldn't risk it again. I could have lost my 400 pound vendetta in the canal.

This is the best receiver for you Futaba s.bus users out there who are mini quad racing or using a park flyer airplane! It includes different cables for whatever your application may be. It came with a cable to attach to the cc3d main port and it worked like a charm. I had no troubles whatsoever binding to my Futaba T10CHP. The footprint is very small and I was surprised of that when it came in the mail. Highly recommend this product to futaba s.bus users out there!
