Great value, but wires don’t last

I am using these cords to make a square to round cable to connect an old FM transmitter to a new FASST or FHSS Futaba transmitter for training new pilots. Works fine, but the cables develop a short after a while of use, the cable quality isn’t all that, but it was enough to train three pilots. For the cost they are great. The square connector can be found with a jr plug separately that I disassemble and resolder. The short occurred where the round connector attaches. Will try to be more careful not to rest the transmitter on the cord and see if that helps.

to make student teacher (trainer) does not work
and also the "DTN" function does not work
the pin are joined in the following way:
1 - 1
2 - 2
3 - 3
4 - 4
5 - 5
6 - 6
and not good, does not work
to make it work you have to cut the cable and connect the poles

This training cable is for older futaba sets. I puchcased to join my 8FG with a 6EX but they use square plugs. gave to a fellow flying with older radios
