Moteur puissant.

This plane is my first try in Rc flying and seems a good choice for it.
After only tweenty hours on Phoenix simulator and a missed take off, I've been succesfully flying this plane for two maiden flights with succes. I've even started accrobatics on the second flight. It's an easy and gentle plane, that will still stand up for more expirenced pilots as it has plenty of power, and is a good stunt plane.
Can easely fly at half throtle and not to hard to land. but remember that begeners must not fly this plane on windy days.

This is a nice plane. The con, when I opened the package, the lead weight used to balance the plane fell out, epoxy and put glass cloth on it took care of that, than the other issue I have is the mounting screw for the cowling, they were flimsy and some part of the foam came out with the screw, I epoxy it and put glass cloth over then screw assembly to reinforce it. These are the main 2 reasons for giving it a 4 stars. On the pro side, this plane flew wonderfully, I used Zippy 15C series 1300 mAh 3S batt and there seems to be no problem with power. Roll, flip, loop, inverted flight, u name it, it will do it with flying colors (just not hovering lol)...it flew just like that FMS F6F...u know what,..they even look alike lol..ya, take off the wheels...and dremel the tail wheel, dont need em. I would buy it again, the next great buy after that P47 kit.

what a nice plane, this is my 2 low wing plane, (first was the AT-6) very easy to assembell just take your time, i set CG at 55mm from lip of the wing as the manual says, and not at 65mm as the stickers on the wings were puted. Plane flys very nice very easy to fly, as it was my maiden flyght i didnt went crazy so i just enjoy it with no acrobatic stuff. Landing was very easy it kind a just glids i didnt thing it was hard to, only problem was the landing gear, because i land in the dirt and i didnt see a hole, so they were riped from th wing, but the cowl handle it very well it didnt brake. i am happy with this plane. thanks hobbyking

sinon sympathique petit avion!

I love the look of this plane. Fit and finish are not the greatest. Had to cut loose and realign motor mount stick, it was about 5mm off perpendicular to front of plane. Two of the cowl mounts were broken loose from fuselage.Had to realign the wing spur mount to align it with the fuselage. These minor issues were easily rectified. The foam spinner will not stay on without the use of glue. Overall happy with the finished product. You can even get a Zippy 2200 mah 3s in the battery box along the top running along the line of the fuselage. You will have to remove the steel weight in nose to get CG right. Will try to post more after maiden flight.

Just received my GeeBee and the foam under one of the cowl screws was broken. Not too bad. The aileron servo is hilariously set, the servo arm is at about 20 deg but the ailerons are level so would have been an interesting maiden. The body halves are glued slightly out of alignment like one half was molded longer than the other, as it is even at the front but panel lines are out of whack, again a minor complaint that should not effect performance.
I will mod the battery bay to take an 1800 or maybe 2200. For the price I am sure I can accommodate these minor issues. I have a Turnigy 2217 that should fit easily for 40 odd oz of go forward. Package arrived in OZ from HK in one day via ems, and then Australia Post took two days to move it 200 kms. What a joke.
Great value and service, thanks again Hobby King

Awesome plane! It flies great and looks pretty in the air. I only give it 4 starts because of the flimsy landing gear, but they are easy to fix. Use LOTS of gorilla glue. I will buy another kit to keep around.

Very cool model, fly well and only down side is wheel pants get caught in grass and makes it nose over on landings all the time. I put a power system the same as the Hobbyking Pitts in mine and flies fantastic. You can see my what's in the box and flight review here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35YwBR3Iajw
