Frame is a tad bit heavier than I would have liked. On the plus side, it is very robust. Had a very nasty crash on short grass with no damage except for the nylon stand-offs that I used in place of the stock metal ones. The stock stand-offs are a bit long and take away from the frame's portability. I ordered 31 mm nylon standoffs, nylon bolts and nylon nuts from HK to go with this frame. The result was an extremely compact quad when folded. All equipment fit inside the frame, including escs, orange radio rx (just remove the rx from its case) and fpv gear. Used Aomway cmos camera and 200 mw fpv tx. Motors are dys 1804 2300 kv on 5x4 props. Escs are 3x afro 12 amp opto and 1x afro 12 amp with bec. Flight controller is a naze32 acro. Extremely satisfied with the results. Will easily fly 7 minutes on a 3s 1800 mah 25C battery (10 minutes on 5x3 props with no fpv gear installed). Highly recommend if you want a nice-flying and very compact foldable quad. Rmk: the naze board can take up to 14 volts so a 3S all-opto esc installation is possible. However, if you do that the naze will supply that same 3S voltage to your radio rx. Many radio receivers cannot cope with such high voltages.

I've had my Pocket Quad for 3 months now and have flown multiple batteries through it almost every day. It is standing up to the use very well despite regularly running into trees and bushes and other obstacles. My go-to quad for fpv, very robust, a bit heavier than some but very predictable in flight and good in windy conditions. I'm not using the folding capability and have bolted the arms in place - very rigid. Quite an expensive frame but well worth the money IMHO, excellent quality, brilliant PDB, very strong.

Excellent choice for a non carbon fiber frame.

Pros: super strong, foldable, includes PDB
Cons: only take 5" props, a bit heavy (thick arms and plates)

Hey Hobbyking, please make available long arms capable to take 6" props" as an accessory for the clients who already bought this frame !!
Please move the skid / feet position to anywhere nearer to the motor mount area. You guys have put the skid/feet screw hole just in the middle of the arms where ESCs are meant to settle, nobody wants to tight an ESCs on top of a screw head , it will damage ESC circuit board.
Cheers

Excellent little frame, goes together very well, plenty of room for all the gear, nice quality. Mine flies very well with Multistar Elite 2204 on 3S with 5x3 props and Naze32. The H-Quad layout makes orientation at distance much easier than X-Quads, that was an unexpected bonus. Those little switches are great, so easy to switch the FPV gear on and off depending on what flying you are doing. The power distribution board is very nice, I mounted the ESCs between the two bottom plates so I had to put in 4mm extra spacers to give enough clearance. Maybe H-Kim could include spacers in future versions?? Also, how about built-in LEDs, that would be awesome. I really like this machine, I'd recommend it.

Just recieved 2x frames.
There are 2 things i am not happy about.
1: Turnigy 1806-2280kv Emax Motor can only be mounted with 2 screws.
Arms simply does not support 12x16mm mounting.
2: My afro 12A ESCs does not fit between PDB board and main frame... i need 2-3mm more space there (quick fix with couple of screw spacers, but it still should be done)
I will repport back after some close contact with trees ;)
