mine came with solid cabon rod not a tube so its pretty heavy but incredibly stiff

everything fits but the treads are a little weird they're loose(like they will slide strait off) until you screw them on pretty far then they're fine

really good set of carbon rods, they are excellent quality, have brought 4 sets of these now, using them on my new yak55, also on my extra 260, will by more, A+++

I ordered eight of these and will put them on a Wild Stick 120. All the ends fit fine. JB weld to hold on the ends, need to use a silicone keeper on the clevises.

Really good quality.

I bought a boat load full and use them on all my larger planes.

Make sure to rough up the rods a bit before glueing the threaded parts on.

Diameter !!!

I've bought these on more than one occasion and the first ones I bought were great.



The carbon tubes had an outside diameter of 4 mm and the ends slipped on nicely.



I've just come to use the later ones I bought and the carbon tubes that have been supplied have an outside diameter of 5 mm - effectively rendering them useless.



Yes, the ends could be made to fit with some carbon rod, but this would make them heavier and there isn't any supplied with them.



I'd like to buy some more but only if they have the correct size carbon supplied now.



Originally I'd have said 5 out of 5, but I'm afraid I can't now.



Verdict: great item when supplied with 4 mm tube and not 5 mm tube.

340 mm maximum extension (clevis pin to pin), 4-40 thread on the end caps, good fit to CA the end caps to the carbon fire

I never got the product. It might be fine. I finally got the order cancelled and they issued a credit for me to use.



Pretty hard to get support it seems.
