to go for a faster charger because I use bigger batteries now. But this thing is really nice if you just get started in the hobby and if you only use /- 2200 2s lipo's

i like it! no fuss, just plug the lipo in and forget about it. i ve seen it bring back over depleded cells back to life!...right!?!

and it can take a freaken beating too. i am still using the first one that i bought 3 years ago.i use em at work. i work on a construction site in canada...very dusty, sometimes sub-zero temperatures and sometimes damp...very damp, they also get kicked...often with steel toes!! but still going. the only thing is that the fan quit while back. but i replaced it with an oversized computer case fan...seems to work

this is my first review for any product from hobby king. i have had this charger for well over 2 years and it is used constantly. the main use is for 2s and 3s lipo batteries. i have found it totally reliable in all situations, simplicity in it,s self to use...plug in and play. the only annoying thing is that the fan is noisy, but what the heck, when you cannot here it, you know the batteries are charged. i power mine from a mains power supply and cannot comment on the 12volt car plug, as i,ve never used it. i found that charging lipos on my shulze isl 6-330d,puffed the batteries, because i was not able to balance the cells, that why i bought this charger. brilliant piece of kit

Another great, 'no frills' charger from HK. I've used this charger on my last two trips to the field and have no complaints. Good price, no complicated menu to figure. As long as you can deal with the 12v auto plug, this should be your first charger.

Great little charger at a great price. Simple to use and works well. Batteries come off well balanced and fully charged. Just ordered a second unit. Just have to make sure you have a 5 amp power supply.

This charger dont even want to charge one of my batteries but the charger that came with my walkera heli has no problem charging it. I found out the problem with the battery is that its balance plug or its pin faulty. This charger detected it and refuse to charge. Wow!

The led of mine is blue and red, not green and red as in manual. Made me flip the manual over and over. The charger doesnt even want to charge one of my battery I first plugged in, I found out the battery has its balance plug loose. Wow, safety and the charger really charge the cell individualy. The balance charger that came with my heli didnt even detect it and charge anyways.

Started with just one of these chargers 2yrs ago. It recovered 3 batts that my more expensive charger refused to. I have it powered by an old laptop charger. I am now hiring out cars at my park so I knew what charger to buy. So now another 4 are coming in the next order.
