A decent enough combo for most 70mm applications.



Hotter combos are available, but at greatly increased prices, so this is a good buy for the average enthusiast.



Note however that the fan is NOT dynamically balanced in spite of the web page info. The instructions provide info on how to balance the fan.



A CD is provided with instructions and hi-res images on assembling the unit.

I bought two of these and fitted them to a previously underpowered SR-71 kit and rigged it up for 4s use using two 70A esc's. They are balanced fine. I hit full throttle on takeoff and my SR-71 shot skyward after about 30 feet and I managed to throttle back before the wings almost got torn off. The thrust is huge. Probably best to use on 3S. Full throttle burst on 4S draws 77A and thrust was 2,145kg.

Overall I give this 3 1/2 stars. This is the FlySuper fan & it's an avg quality & performing unit. The motor can is an odd 29.5mm diameter & ribbed & won't fit most other fan shrouds. Shroud is made of avg strength plastic material same as the rotor and seems to be a soft pitch going by the figures I got. With the feel of the strength of the rotor I wouldn't push it much past 4S. The motor I received was stamped as 3300kv but I tested it at 3880KV, surprisingly it only pulled 720W at 49A. An ok plug n play that needs some balancing but loses half a star cos you can't use the motor in other fans, just don't expect Wemotec/HET type quality or with this unit.
