What can I say, this is great stuff to put on the seams on the wings to stiffen and streamline at the same time! and also on leading edges, I've hit power lines without damaging the wing with this on the leading edge good stuff, oh yes it is the checkered pattern.

I love this tape. My model does not live without it. Good for attach flying surfaces on a foam model and protect wing leading edge. I am using it even to attach camera.
