good cheap replacement. The entire lower bearing mount shattered in a somewhat hard landing. It just shows you that plastic is sometimes better than cheap aluminum. I prefer the stock plastic align piece as it is more durable. This is cheap enough that you can keep a bunch of spares though. However, belt replacements do get tiresome as they are not easy to mount. Good buy, but I would still recommend the plastic align piece. There also seems to be quite a lot of play on the upper bearing.

One of the biggest plus for HK-250GT: Spare parts are crap cheap. Item is good.

I have worked through a couple of these and I'm not really happy with the design, because the aluminium part without the shaft takes up a lot of the impact in certain types of crashes, which bends the aluminium legs and makes the unit unusable. The A_ign design is a lot better in this aspect in my opinion (but I don't think it fits, haven't tried). I have also had problems with the top bearing getting stripped in the air, but luckily I got the heli down in one piece. So keep an eye on those bearings! You need to have these in spare, they will get damaged if you crash and will need to be replaced now and then.

This replacement parts doesn't fit on my HK-250. The shaft ist at least 2mm too long and pushes the bottom part too far down. There is no way to fix that, as the gear is kind of glued on the shaft.I also find this part rather expensive, half of the price would be reasonable. For me I just wasted $5.40 for a useless part...
