El módulo de alimentación HKPilot 2.5 incorpora tanto una manera de alimentar su HKPilot y los accesorios y reportar el voltaje de la batería y la corriente a la HKPilot, esto puede ser visto en los registros almacenados de la HKPilot o vivir con una radio telemetría. A lo largo de un cable de 6 pines sola y firmemente incluido que coincide directamente el conector de la HKPilot. El regulador de conmutación salidas de 5.3V a bordo en un máximo de 2.25A, y se puede utilizar hasta 18 voltios (4S LiPo) y en un máximo de 90 amperios. El módulo de alimentación está listo para usar con conectores en T preinstalados, y reducir el tamaño ajustado para protección.

Nota: El módulo de alimentación tiene una potencia de 2,25 amperios para alimentar el HKPilot, el receptor y los periféricos (GPS y radio telemetría) SOLAMENTE. Para poder utilizar un CES servos con un BEC adecuada o un independiente BEC enchufado en el bus de salida, y quite el puente 1 para aislar las dos líneas de alta tensión.

While the 5v output of this module should be 5.25v, this module is actually outputting 5.50v. The pixhawk/hkpilot board detects this overvoltage condition and faults the board.

Soldering quality is disgusting! If you're planning to use the cables/ T connectors, do yourself and your craft a favor by re-soldering them.

On the positive side, it works beautifully and the DC-DC converter piggyback board is of great quality.

Works as advertised.
I replaced the input T connector with XT60 and soldered directly to the PDB the output wires. Nice thick 12awg wires.
For Arducopter I had set a value of 17Amps/volt but I think 12-13A/v should be better.
The 5V SBEC was kinda in my way, trying to fit it inside a Trifecta frame, where the PDB is, so I removed it, connected it with wires (looks like only 4 out of 5 pins are used) and placed the regulator somewhere else.

I am using this on the HKAPM micro, with slight modification to the cord. It worked right out of the box, with minimal setup through the Mission Planner software.

BE CAREFUL and check this Power Module before installing. I installed without checking and immediately smoked it. After the smoke cleared I found the positive (Red) and negative (Black) leads on the output side were reversed. The Red lead was actually negative and the Black lead was positive. The input side was wired correctly.

WRONG CABLE!!!!! the cable you see in the picture and actually shipped with the kit, does not fit the hkpilot board connector...... you can tell me what to do ????

I had to get the one with T connectors ...So a bit of soldering for me .

bought this to go with the HK apm board which was working fine for more than a week. when this module arrived I plugged it in and at first all was OK but after about 10 connections the module failed with low volts out the sbec and took out the APM with it so I now have $100 of scrap electronics. In fairness to HK the sbec was a sub component made by a reputable US company.
