This is a great knife but the X-blades I bought with it, and usually use, are a loose fit and don't work if pressure is needed. It needs blades with a wider grip end.

A real surprise after some of the cheap stuff out there with plastic parts. Heavier than I suspected, but in a solid way with metal parts. Holds blades well. Definitely buy more of these.

Very nice hobby knife with rubber grip. Much better than the cheaper one. This is much thicker, rubber grip is nice and it just feels better quality. For the price this is must have for all.hobbyist.

This knife is easily worth the extra cost over the cheaper one HK sells without the rubber grip. I thought the grip was the only difference between them, but it isn't; this knife is noticably thicker and more robust than the cheaper version. It holds the blade so much more securely, I never use the cheap version anymore. It's a no brainer- get this one. It's worth the extra dollar, for sure.
