Print incredible structures and 3D projects with HobbyKing's own range of PLA filament. If you're new to using PLA, you'll find it easier to print thanks to having a lower melting point.

One of the most important features is that PLA is non-toxic with an extremely high printing resolution. . PLA has a low shrinkage rate and is very rigid with minimal flex. While PLA is considered stronger than ABS it is more susceptible to cracking when subjected to flexing, therefore you will need to consider if the filament is right for the mechanical needs of the print project.

A great material for 3D printing, PLA can be printed without the use of a heat bead and can stick to glass or a PCB plate using a binder such as hairspray or white glue. These simple binding agents will help achieve a curl free print.

3D printing is a fun and exciting hobby with a wide range of uses from prototyping parts to making toys for the kids. Picking the right filament for your application is very important. Nice PLA filament

On my 5th roll of this PLA now, prints really consistantly, with a good layer adhesion and a nice finish.

Very good filament for the money. Works great and has no tolerance issues. The spool is a bit wider than Esun 1kg spools and older HK spools. Also the color is a bit transluscent. The color is not quite what I was expecting according to the product photo, more like a natural light brownish plastic color. Anyways I pretty nice color.

I started using this PLA Premium filament when I ran out of the basic Hobbyking filament. I'm about halfway through this reel, my prints have been good and the filament hasn't given me any issues at all.
