Great ESC, very tough. Kinda big so be sure you pay attention to the dimensions before ordering. Note: heatsink is only held on by shrink wrap, be sure to secure it if you trim the wrap back.

Bought this for my 450. In hindsight, this is way overkill for it. Otherwise, it runs really nicely.

Dont bother with the Red Brick. My 60A ESC will NOT exit the set up mode no matter what procedure is done. I scrapped it for the wires... I have a lot of great flights using the "Plush" series, so I'll stick to those. Now I know why its called a brick, because that is exactly how it operates. Disappointed, but at least I only lost 12 bucks here. Still am a huge Hobby King fan and Platinum customer!

I have about 150 flights so far on this ESC, I've been using it with a 5 amp sbec on 2 planes, switching electronics between each flight. The smaller of the 2 pulls about 30 amps, the larger 40 amps. I'm in the process of building a plane that will peak at 55 amps so I'll have a chance to really test it when I'm done, but so far it's worked great. it has come down cold after every flight thanks to its large uncovered finned heatsink.

Mine arrived DOA. (Yes I was running a separate BEC). Sorry but I can't recommend this to anyone, it simply doesn't work. All connections good.. but just nothing from the ESC.

2 of the FETs exploded after a few flights. Motor should draw maximum 45 Amps, so the ESC was unlikely killed by the Motor's current draw.

The cooling pad wasn't mounted properly, so it is possible that the FETs were killed by their own heat :/
