you need EXTRA LARGE servos for this! it doesn't work if it's just standard or micro or whtaever, found out the hard way, a extra large servo isn't exactly very cheap either

Got this item in the mail the other day. As other users have mentioned;
1) Instructions not really adequate (on this webpage under the "FILES" tab).
2) The assembly was a bit tricky as the pieces do not fit exactly together. Sanding and a bit of filing was needed. I used a Dremel-tool to expand the assembly points and it worked out great.

Also, there has been some confusion regarding servos. You need 2 standard servos for the gimbal-system itself and one (optional) mini servo that functions as the camera shutter release actuator. My set-up will not be needing the shutter release.

In all, appears to be sturdy and besides it being a little lacking in the fit and finish; a good product for the price. Invest in some good quality servos. I am looking to get HS-5645 MG.

Pour le prix, je vois difficilement comment trouver mieux !
Elle n'est pas rserve au Y650 car il est possible de la monter sur la plupart des frames vu la conception.

Comme dj mentionn par certains, il faut prendre son temps pour tout monter blanc avant de coller quoi que ce soit et ajuster toutes les pices une par une ... mais bon on fait du modlisme :)
Une fois colle, a ne bouge pas !

Concernant les Servos, il y a une erreur dans la description.
De base c'est prvu pour 2 servos de taille standard 1 mini pour le Trigger.

il est possible de monter des mini servos simplement en ajoutant une plaque "adaptatrice" sur les supports servos. J'y ai install 2 mini Corona de 2,5 kg et a entraine largement une GoPro ou un APN.

The mount is quote good for the price. Please be aware, you need a tiny file to make all round holes "square" for a good fit of parts, and the description actually states number of servos required incorrectly.
The mount requires 2 x standard servos and 1 x mini servo. You also need some sort of a glue to make sure the "locks" will not fall off.

Overall - i think it is a really good one for the budget!

Quality is is absolutely crap! if you have several hours spare and don't mind carbon/fiberglass powder everywhere and love fileing EVERY SINGLE tab and slot! then go ahead and waste your money and time....there are heaps of similar priced better quality mounts around.
