Everything was in good working order and perfect condition. Flys very well under power but is difficult to control as a glider. Without the motor running, there isn't enough tail surface to overcome the aerodynamics of the large frontal fuselage. This would make a nice simple FPV platform if the fin and rudder are replaced with at least 25pcnt or area.

Good plane but components are very poor quality!

Bought this to get me back into the hobby after a 10 year gap. I've had it a month now, first 3 outings were a waste of time - replaced 2 servos and the esc because they all failed. As previous review said the servos are glued in so you damage the wings when you remove them :(

Now that I've spent more than I care to admit on this plane it's good! The plane itself is nice to fly, it glides well and is super stable. Can pick up quite a bit of speed when you push it, it also handles gusts.

I've not had any bad crashes yet, just slow speed wingtip spins on landing, it's survived those without an issue.

Battery life is a little disappointing (10 mins of gentle flying/gliding). Make sure you buy a couple of extra batteries to keep you in the air for longer!

This plane is a lot of fun to fly. I used it to learn to fly on, and after a couple of short hops was able to do some circuits and even some aerobatics. It has plenty of power, plenty of control authority (way too much rudder though, so I reduced the gain on that channel to about 50pcnt) and very tough. It's also nice and light, which is great for learning - on my first real flight, I managed to fly it into myself at full blast, and it didn't even leave a bruise, although I did need to apply some Gorilla Glue to stick the nose back together.

Longest flight so far is 25 mins using a 500mAh 2S battery, but I usually get around 15 mins from 500mAh.

There is only just enough space for a FrSky X6R receiver, but it can be done. I even managed to get battery voltage telemetry working, but that required a little bit of work with a craft knife to make a groove for the weirdly placed analogue input in the X6R. CoG is spot on with the 500mAh 2S battery stuffed into the slot in the nose.

It's a fast glider. Good looking and good motor speed, but must balance the plane before you fly! Tail heavy, so I had to stick a 1/2" metal nut inside the nose cone just in front of the battery. Good value at 50pcnt off during HobbyKing's flash sale. Product arrived fine. some rust at carbon tube where the control rods come out to the rear. Ruder is over-bearing (too much control) while the ailerons have little effect even at max servo. Therefore it loops well, but can't do rolls. It also helps to dab some hot glue between the main wing and the fuselage as the rubber bands can't hold the wings down during sharp turn. Crashed it a few times due to aggressive flying; kinked the nose, broke the canopy, and cracked open the carbon tube. Glued and taped everything back, and flying again. Not bad. It's fun. Ha Ha

Very nice small and easy to transport glider. Makes a lot of fun! Is for beginners as well as for experienced pilots who want to have some easy fun to carry in a backpack.

Nice beginners plane, but I would recommend getting help from someone experienced or research beforehand. You need to wire it up and install your own battery and receiver. It isn't entirely obvious how to do this. Then the plane needs to be balanced. The plane also has a lot of power, so it can easily get out of hand for a beginner. If in doubt, cut the throttle and let it crash.

It is pretty robust, and handles multiple hard landings and crashes with ease. I got it stuck up a tree and had to pull it down with a hook. The only damage was ding on the leading edge.

My two gripes with the plane are that the cockpit is very crowded and a lot of wires etc sit right ion top of the servos. This just feels like it is going to jam one day. The other gripe is that the elevator is very stiff, which caused the gears in the servo to shred eventually. I just cut half of the hinge out which eased its movement significantly.

2s 500mah LiPos ZIPPY Flightmax this plane. It fits perfectly. The weight of the entire model 216gr. Model flies perfectly and the CG is located exactly in the documentation - 40-45 mm from the edge of the wing. everything works correctly. Flight duration can easily be 10-15 minutes on 500mah - I fly 6-7 min and battery discharged 180-200 mah.

It's a great glider. Really liked, with the exception of servos.

The CG was not where they pointed out, it was too nose heavy, and had to remove a metal from the nose, and also broke easily, not like the swift mini... it was very tough.... servo strips easily... i would prefer swift mini, even though it dont have a pusher prop...
