I used 6 of these for a home-made 3D-printed InMoov robot .It was relatively easy to modify them to remove the pot for external placement and to remove the limit pin to enable full rotation.

Granted i did abuse this servo and it did about 50 hours of work over 2 months moving between 5 -10kg then it stopped working and fried the sbec drawing over 3A without moving or under load even with the gears off.

I bought this for my HPI 5B, only after about 5 tanks my stock HPI servo stopped working. After looking at the price of replacement servos, I decided to turn to Hobby King for the best deal possible. This servo is the same dimensions as the stock HPI servo looks to be all metal. It feels great in your hands, nice weight, feels solid and bolts right in with no modification. After I installed it in the 5B I put 3 tanks through it. This Hobby King servo ROCKS!! It has no problem turning the front tires sitting still or under power.
Great Job Hobby King. You saved me a lot of money so I could by other Hobby King items.
