If you have opto esc's then you need this ubec to supply 5v to your equipment. Its small and works well. I attach mine to the main battery plug and there you have it. continuous 5v.

Nice little BEC. Holds 5 volts but the 3Amps is a peak rating only. 1.5 amps is the most it will supply constantly. Without dropping the rail voltage.

Works well, but be careful with the wiring to the board. Even though it's protected by the heatshrink, the wires are still free to move around considerably. With repeated plugging and unplugging of your battery (most smaller aircraft won't have a switch due to lack of room, or to save weight), the wires will eventually fray and break away from the circuit board. Dribble some epoxy or hot glue onto the solder join on the board to support the wires.

I wanted to fit this in my Bobolink DMG but it is too big :-( I guess its a quality UBEC but dont try to fit it in small gliders...

Not really good quality wont buy these again of a fully charged 4z pack they wont drive 4 mic ro servos my 2 cents pay a few dollars more and get turnigy ubecs these are made by AEO good edfs but not ubecs
