Not for race but for FPV training it is a good frame. Used like a source for spares.

Excellent cheap frame

I bought this as my first quad. Apparently everyone is after dandy carbon frames that youtubers advertise but I wanted something different and cheaper so I went for the Totem Q250. And boy how happy I am. So I present you "Bloody Snowflake", my new 250 quad. I only changed the arms to a white set to match the white/red build theme that I had in mind. Very light frame (even lighter than some carbon frame of the same size), pretty sturdy, it has very very little horizontal flex in the arms. Depending on how you plan to mount the electronics and battery might be a tight fit or not. I decided to mount the battery inside the frame and the electronics on top and this becomes quite tight but I'm happy with the end result. Went for 2307/ 2200kv Racerstar motors, a 3s 1500mAh Graphene battery, Quanum Illuminati 32 flight controller and a 4in1 Racerstar 35A esc and I have to say this is great fun. Very stable, fast and I think it looks great. I really recommend this especially if you just starting in this hobby and learn to fly with this you don't have to worry about scratching, cracking or delaminating your expensive carbon frame. Just go nuts and enjoy. I've uploaded a few pics of it if anyone wonders how it looks like.
