Works spotless-with my Canon M controlled by J8 Futaba, I have made already pictures it's simple IR transmitter same like pocket IR controller for camera, I was almost to buy very expensive and complcated sustem with max distance of 150mtr-now I have as far as Futaba does

Exactly what I wanted. I tested with a Canon Kiss X ( 400D by another name ) and used an Orange 610 RX connected to a 12A ESC and a 460mah 3s ( just what I had around ) I connected the shutter controller to the gear channel on the RX using a 10cm male to male servo lead. When I plugged in the battery the red led lit up on the shutter controller and flickered when I cycled the gear switch on the TX. I set the camera to infra red trigger mode and successfully took half a dozen boring photos of my office, one photo each time I cycled the gear switch on the TX. Now I've just got to buy a Canon camera small enough to go on a plane but I also have a way of being in the family photos. Many thanks to whoever submitted the file with the instructions.

Fantastic item. I use them all the time. In little: planes, wings, quadcopters, howercrafts - you name it. Nice cheap thing.
