After thinking what could i do in the camera to use the IR shutter, i noticed that my sony a6000 has a tiny black window wich is the IR receiver. I conected all the devices of my fpv system and put the shutter faced with the led side to the tiny window of my camera. It worked perfect, just for pictures. It doesn't work with video recording.
Ps. I had to select the Remote Ctrl option in my camera settings.

Works well with a Sony NEX 5T, if you leave it switched on, it will activate the camera (photo)approx once a sec continuous. It does not activate Video.

Hello, I confirm this IR shutter works on a Sony Alpha NEX-7.
Dont forget to select the "Remote Cdr." mode in the "Drive mode" menu.

Small as a postal stamp. Light, easy to install either with radio receiver or APM.. Can confirm that it works with SONY NEX 5N
