For the price a nice kit. Foam board used is better quality than flighttest kits, and all parts are included. Nice graphics, and flies well both fast and slower. I built mine lighter than recommended with 6-7 amp 20 gram motor and 3s 500mah battery and it works great. Bonus for Seahawk color scheme!Very good and complete flat foam kit. Everything fits and a good pictured manual. i built it as a slow Flyer with 280gr. total weight.
Setup is EMAX 1806 2280kv Motor with günther prop an 20 A ESC. 2x 5 gr servos frsky Receiver and 3s Zippy compact 1000mah.
CG is at the end of the canopy or 35mm in front of the main spar. It is slightly nose heavy with this CG but on the save side for maiden. Flys stable without bad Habits and not realy fast with this Setup but you need only half a Soccer field to have fun.Nice little kit, very little assembly required, instructions are more of a guide line. Don't take it for gospel! ha - I used a combination of Gorilla glue and Hot glue.
There is no indication of the CofG, so I went with around 10-15mm infront of the leading edge - roughly straight down from the back of the canopy, just behind the canopy pegs. I felt this might be a little nose heavy as although it took off and flew straight, i had little elevator authority and didnt handle great. So after refitting the motor I will try a litttle further back. - - Test flown with a Multistar Elite 2204 on 5x3/ as I wanted a slow steady flight. Had enough for a nice cruise. Once the elevator and CofG issues are resolved ill be popping in a funfighter motorHI

This ia a good depron plane with 70cm span
Notice that a 3s 2200mah Lipo is very heavy for it 180g, for any 70cm kit.May be a mistake;
I would put a 20g motor with 2S 500mah to 800mah
like other planes of this size, It's more likely to carry it.
when i placed the order in the title was clearely mentioned EPP but the item was made by DEPRON and it's flat without profile. 18$ for a few grams of depron????Ordered mine as soon as it became available and I must say I'm impressed. Everything is beautifully cut and the hardware is good. My only gripe about it is that the print on the foam comes off it if you so much as look at it funny, and while holding the fuselage together while gluing the odd spots of glue on my fingers removed so much print from the nose it looks like I've crashed it before I've even taken it out. Mine is fitted with a Dr Mad Thrust 50mm edf and final weight is 449g. I've cut and reshaped the rear fuz to allow airflow into the fan. Shall fly it tomorrow and see how it performs
