I installed this motor on a Great Planes .46 U-Can-Do with a Zippy 3000ma 5s1p 20c lipo with a 70a ESC and a APC 14x4W glow prop and it has unbelievable vertical! No issues yet, but the plane has only had it's maided flight yesterday. Best electric 3D plane to date. The plane weighs 5 lbs. RTF

I got two of them and they present: Kv = 754, stator diameter 40mm only and stator lenght 19mm only. I live in Brasil and postage costs are prohibitive. I wont send them back so no worranty. Be carefull concerning HK specifications.

I bought 2 KDA 50-12S claimed to have 620 Kv and stator lenght 25mm.
The engines suplied have stator lenght of only 20mm and Kv 754 rpm/volt. They are not the motors i bought.
I'll claim.

I'm using this motor in a sig kavalier .46 nitro conversion project of mine. It's coupled with a 60A HK ESC and a 5s 5000mA LiPo and a 12x6 prop. Results are very good! I can climb vertically as long as I want and can comfortably fly around 15 minutes. The motor and battery stay cool but the ESC had to be moved to the underside of the plane to stay cool. You might want an 80A ESC

The shaped motor mount shipped with the motor didn't fit but everything else fits just fine. I made my own mount out of balsa/ply so that wasn't a big deal

I have around 20 flights on this motor so far. Performance is excellent. I recommend this motor.

Ich habe 2 Stk. von diesen Motoren gekauft. Leider sind beide unbrauchbar. Unwucht und Aussetzer lassen es nicht zu, die beiden Motoren fr einen Einsatz in einem Flugzeug. Ich bin sehr enttuscht.

Ich habe 2 Stk. gekauft. Leider bin ich sehr enttuscht. Ein Motor hat soviel Unwucht dass er nicht eingesetzt werden kann. Der andere Motor hat Aussetzer und kann ebenfalls nicht eingesetzt werden. Ich kann diesen Motor nicht empfehlen.

Testing today, trying a 14x8.5 and a 15x8, aswell as a 13x4, so far the best has been the 15x8 on 4 cells
