Hi
Maidened my Bird Dog on the weekend, such a lovely plane to fly, really nice in the air, floats like a dream. Great Model! set up with a Turnigy D2830-11 1000kv motor, 30 amp ESC, 1300mah lipo, 9x6 GWS prop, flew great for ages. First set up was with an APC style 9x6 but at the sweet spot for flying the prop made a horrendous noise, sounded like a gas engine, CoG was spot on from the box too. Change of prop now flying quiet! Only downfall was the ESC (it was on old item) failed (heard a big screeech) so it went deadstick and actually landed itself with do damage!! Just on the edge of the field hit the higher grass and nosed over, no damage! Just an ESC which I have plenty! Would def recommend this bird!
Only negative as per usual, instructions are different to what you actually get.

Maiden to day.
Fly`s very well, jus a 3 cell 1800, and 1300mAh battery, gives me 6 and 4 min in the air.
And plenty of volt left to landing (cell`s on apr 3.9volt)
Like most Cub a litel rudder is neede on the runway, it only ned 2 - 3meter. In the air ok, but i wil sett the upper ailron a litel more upp, to compensait.
Float god in the air, just a litle Power neede on the landing.

Nice model, mine in the red army color, Nice finish
Very well packed, and use less then two weeks to Norway.
This wil bee and alround model, can use it everywhere.

Hope to have it the air soon.

Plane arrived not broken! ! , but missing pilot and a few balsa rails, no way to make hk understand just want missing items sent to me, without weighing, photographs sending back etc.so i just didn't bother.

Can't beat the price. Solid balsa construction and aluminum clevis' plane went together without a hitch. I received the air force grey edition, which in my opinion is a better looking plane. I added am aluminum servo tray only because I wanted absolute solidification. Balsa tray would work fine, but I like tinkering and customizing my planes. All I all I would buy this plane, even from the International where house again. I used a bell 1500 k with a 7x6 prop amd 2200 3 battery. Awesome plane.

Hi! Received mine . Not as same color as seen on This page. Received US Air Force (all grey).
Nice finishing coated (monokote) must BE make by computer because no shrink at all.
Easy construction with some re-enforcements and modifications. Did not flew yet but IT should Fly easy. Two cells is to slow, I recommanded 3 cells.
