The product doesn't work. The tail pitch slider is far too wide over the tail shaft = movement in the blades and jamming of the pitch slider as it slides across the tail shaft.

Hobbyking admit that this is a common complaint but they say that it was designed that way. Therefore, no fault and refuse to rectify the issue.

Waste of money.

cheap, but it's not worth a penny!
The slider arms lock against the metal control arm underneath on full pitch = catastrophic failure.
Poor machining. There has been no care or attention in machining this part. Rough edges, drill holes off centre. The bearing isn't line-up properly so the gear sits to one side.

Definitely worth paying double price for genuine align parts.

Very dissapointed in this, the tail slider is not smooth, there is a fair bit of slop in the arm at the ball joint ( very loose fit ). Torque tube drive dont centre. Very poor Quality.

Very nice quality. Every scew was locked. The slop is minimal, better than the old version from the Pro which I had.

I've had a lot of problems with tail slop on my HK450TTpro. I bought two of these, because they looked close to the improved Align tail and they cost a lot less.

However, the first one broke during maiden flight test hovering. The heli suddenly started spinning. The pitch control slider broke, rendering the whole assembly inoperative.

I was glad I had two, because the second one got me back in the air. But I have ordered the more expensive Align part, and I am considering never purchasing HK parts again.

I had to review this tail assembly,because I bought it to replace a troublesome tail unit on my second 450pro clone. This particular clone flew perfectly until I crashed it, and since then I just couldn't get the tail to run nicely, replaced bearings, etc.. finally gave up, and ordered this one to see if it would be any better.
Got it today, unfortunately it was missing that little metal pin that goes in the hole of the tail boom to lock it in, fortunately I had an older busted up one that I robbed one off. I've had many clone tail unit, and almost all of them need adjustments to stop them binding, whether its loosening a screw, or removing crusted lockite. With this assembly I held the tail,and wiggled the control arm...very little slop,not zero, but very good, nice and loose too. I flipped the grips, and checked for lockite, all ok.

Once fitted,I adjusted the limits on my cx3100 and popped it into idle up..lovely! A nice crisp tail response, no wag and no bounce,just how it should be..My other clone flys nearly as well,and when it next takes a dive I shallbegetting another of these to replace the tail..I just wish they had a standard 450pro tail,not the aluminium block and silly metal pin thats a pain to remove..oh well!
