this is an inexpensive plane thats pretty fun to fly. but i do take issue with some of its quality and design.

first off the canopy and battery compartment is really small. cramming a battery and receiver required a few mods. The CG of this plane is where the second red stripe is (on red and white models) and figuring out to balance the plane with a 500 mah pack is pretty difficult. This plane needs to be balanced perfectly to ever so slightly tail heavy to fly well. the servo wires are criss crossed inside the fuselage causing them to bend. The plane is pretty fast and quick.

Its an intermediate flyer thats fun to take out. Just make sure the cg is right to get the best possible flying experience.

Little, nice plane, that need some adjustment before flying, expecially adout the flexion of the elevator and rudder rods. My workaround was to put the rods in two small rigid tubes and to soften the elevator and rudder joints.

Fun little model, very crash-resistant, very well designed, but it needs to fly fast to get correct response on control surfaces.
Crashed it a couple of time and apart from the prop nothing broke. Luckily it came with a second propeller!

I'd love to know what happened to earlier review. I was very upset. This model looks great but as with other reviewers fitting in all the components is very difficult. I have cut away the cockpit cover to fit the 500mah battery & would therefore not recomend this size battery. The receiver is squeezed into the nose next to the esc & will get very hot there. Maybe the way to buy this is as rtf as someone else has done all the fitting in. The servos were shuddering on startup & one failed straight away ( have ordered 4 new servos)

Overall this is a good plane, very responsive especially at high speeds. I was doing barrel rolls easily on a 300mah battery but flight time was only about 4-5 mins. My 350mah gives me about 6-7 mins. I am going to try a 460mah but I'm worried about the weight. I too had to cut out the base of the cockpit - this seems like a necessity for everyone who buys this model! Very tight fit even for a turnigy 4ch rx and a 300mah battery. A fast and good looking addition to the squadron.

I purchased the recommended 500mah ziopy battery, and an Orange rx for this plane. There is only enough space for the battery under the canopy. I had to cut out the underside of the canopy to fit the loose wires so I can close the canopy completely.
The rx is squashed into the nose with the ESC pressed next to it, as its the only space to put them! I worry about the heat in the nose.

Because of the poor packaging i now need to add tail weights to get the recommended COG with the 500mah zippy.

I will update when I get a chance to get the plane I to the air.
