I purchased this product and found one defect servo on 08/??/2011. I sent it back to Hobbyking and have waited so far (11/23/2011). Hobbyking service representitive is still saying "Sorry for the delay.we will chase it with factory for replacement for you, once we get the replacement,we send it to you right away, thank you." Hmmm... I am very frustrated by the worst service. Hobbyking! Do you really consider to send the replacement?

Nice looking plane! I actually ordered 2 by accident but the first one while I was building and just glued the 2 halves of the body together the motor gave out and would wobble around heaps and because I had glued the body together I couldn't get to / see the motor at all! So I decided to build the second kit after spending hours on the first kit! Only to have the exact same problem with the motor! But luckily before i glued the body together! I found the problem was a tiny flat head screw that holds the motor to the mounting bit was loose and let the motor wobble around allot. So I super-glued it together and tightened the screw as much as I could. So I assume it's a common problem! Make sure you tighten the screws on the motor/glue it before you put the body together! Hope it flies well after all this time spent on it! This is NOT ARTF

Its a very good looking plane, the dihedral makes it stable, you can fly it a half machine to have better control. Be carefull with the propeller installing, at the beggining it remains in place, but after a few fligths it goes out, put some ciane in the shaft. I want to have the rest of the ww2 planes same kind.

purchased 2 of these and did not like them much at all

very cheap so they get 3 stars but no more than that, worth buying for components and using the frame as display or glider

I did modification on this plane as suggested and it is flying nice. It is kind of lots of work, but if you are into this hobby, it doesn't matter. I have whole set pictures from modification posted on our club website worldweb. cobblehillsfightergroup.ca in message board section. You can check for yourself.

dont be afraid of this me109 ....after you take 90 of the dihedral out of the main wing this plane screams ...

note ballence of the prop and spinner as a compleat assembly

if of the most importance .....it no were neer correct from the factory..... i added ailerons to my model also so it can be more scale ....

i give it 5 stars .....id give it more if there was such a thing ....

the battery i use is 2s 360mha it gives about a 5 - 10 minut kick @$$ flight....

the other war bird micros seem to be the same with the high dihedral on the wing ..flaten the main wing and theis planes are real performers indoors and out on a calm day

best regards doug

I posted negative review but made mods to this plane's cousin the Spitfire. I really love it now but required lots of attention. Here is my video of the procedure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HIhb9HvWjY

Posted recent review about difficult flight characteristics - have since made some adjustments to elevator sensitivity as this airplane stalls very quickly. If kept in the non-stall envelope flies much better! Keep it very straight and level and give yourself at least 50 feet of stall recovery altitude. Looks very nice when flying stable but even light wind gusts make this airplane difficult to avoid nose crunching stalls.
