When it arrived, the box was what I would describe as 'mostly destroyed'. Fortunately, it was only the outer box and everything inside was in perfect condition. The MiG came with the standard Rx connectors, which was annoying because i ordered the micro Rx, which I now have absolutely no use for. Ordered the Rhino 610mAh batteries with it and they were ever so slightly too big to fit flat inside the compartment. (cg was too high with the battery positioned vertically) a knife being the obvious solution. Thrust to Weight is much less than 1, but a good toss into the wind and she flies.

Blew the port side esc on the first 2:00 minutes of flight. Roached from a 2S 380mah battery. Flies ok, but crashed after losing one engine in flight. God Damnit!

Well, I prefer to assemble planes myself as it is easier than removing glued stuff and fix it. One fan was really misaligned, pushrods sloppy (actually the connectors) and some other minor issues. But good value for the money anyway; theres a huge RCG thread on these 35mm jets, ID is 1452474

This plane flies very well. The battery bay requires some pretty small 2s batteries, but I still got 5 minute flights out of mine. I have no idea of what the other reviewer was talking about. Mine had zero damage, nor any warped parts. I even put a keychain camera on it and flew it around! Plenty of power on this tiny bird on 2s, but if you want a rush, install some 3s capable ESC's, and put a small 3s battery up front. That is how I lost mine...it blasted out of site, and onto a school roof. The school found it, and threw it away! Now that it is on sale, I will get another. Very durable plane, but gets a "concord" nose if it is crashed nose-in. Make sure the panel underneath is secure, also, as it may come undone in front, and cause an outside loop.....-Metalguy

This plane is a joke. But since I paid 83 bucks for the thing, the joke must be on me. Tiny little 2.5 gram servos try to throw both the aileron and elevator surfaces for each side. They jitter and act all weird. The "fans," such as they are, could stand a few more blades. Five skinny blades let a lot of air bleed by. The airframe was poorly assembled from warped parts. I had to apply a lot of heat with the heat gun to mold the wings and tails into some semblance of proper alignment. The only good thing about this plane was the decals. They were applied well and fit precisely.

I cut a small notch in the front of the battery compartment to get a Rhino 610 2S 20C pack to fit. But the miniscule fans barely had enough thrust to keep the plane in the air. Add to that the poor handling and you end up with a fairly useless package. I give this plane a "Pffft."

First toss, I put the plane right into the ground about 10 feet in front of me. Thinking it was a cg issue, I move the battery back some, reglue the nose and toss again. Yanking down on the elevator and scraping the tops of the grass I get her up, but still needs about 100 more clicks of uptrim. I land, trim up the surfaces literally 100 clicks and try again. She flys alright, but when I give power she dives or goes down a little bit, but then when I cut the power and glide she climbs and or stalls. Anyone else have this problem??? I guess you can't expect imac quality flying out of a machine like this.

Changed the fans to the 3 blade with a 3s 500mAh battery with all control surfaces set at 90pcnt and still had trouble. Went back to the 5 blade with 70pcnt on all control surfaces and it goes a lot better but I only get about 3mins flight time. Will try about 50pcnt next weekend and see how it goes. It does have a habit of rolling to the right when you power off so just be aware of it. Where I fly it the guys like the look of it in the air and it does fly a lot better now. I would now recommend it now.

This jet is not real good, I used the Zippy Compact 2s 850 in it had 4 goes to get it to fly with the COG at the req setting and it only goes about 10 foot then into the ground not enough power at full noise. I will try the 3 blade prop in it in a few days but dont like my chances of it flying.

My favorite micro jet. Lots of modification done to plane before flying. Not sure if it needed so much but i do it to all my micro jets. Well acually all my planes. 3.5 gram servos installed 3in forward in fuse. 10amp escs. stock motors and duct. 2 blade rotors. 3s powered. Enlarged control surfaces. Check out video under "danieljduff1978" on youtube. Using the 'wing' camera they sell here. As a hat cam and on the plane.

This is a pretty cool little jet. It is pretty fast and has lots of power if you use a light battery. The elevator could use a little more authority and it takes a pretty good throw to get it flying, but once it is up and going it flies really stable and smooth. I use a 460mah 2s nanotech lipo and since the battery is so light, the jet feels like it has more power than when I use a heavier 3s pack. Like others, I had a few slightly warped parts when it arrived, but you can fix them easy enough. One of the motors didn't work either, but upon inspection, it looks like the motor shaft was bent. I took it apart and straightened it out and now it works fine. The speed controller is a bit glitchy, and sometimes it cuts in and out during flight, but it might just be a bad connection somewhere. Overall I really like the thing but wish it was a little better quality since it might need repair straight out of the box.
