Mine also made a loud "clunk" noise on first statup and now will not work.I suspect also that it is destroyed inside. Will open up and have a look. Postage will be too expensive to send back to HK under quarantee....

I did start mine up, yesterday and it sounden not soo good. Soo I open it today, and it was destroyed inside. Well it's not HK fault, I think it's the shipping company and it's handling off the package. I hope i can fix it.

Great little compressor despite it looking like an elephant and the heavy postage. I've used this for some long painting sessions lasting a good couple of hours and this compressor has run perfectly without getting too hot. the 'elephant' shell is a sloppy fit on mine, but that's only a cosmetic problem and doesn't affect how it runs. Works fine with a double action airbrush.

well after about 2 years of good service my compressor finally failed during this time it has been used to paint 4 25 sized models plus other odd jobs. upon inspection i found that the thrust side of the piston had worn a fair amount and the teflon piston ring had failed due to this wear.for the price i can't complain about the service that it gave, but do remember that it wont last forever but is great for getting started with airbrushing without the huge initial outlay. thanks HC

The electric plug doesn't suit in Sweden and have to be changed. Otherwise a very little and handy compressor for airbrusch.
