Seemed to work well at first. Linked up fine with my Futaba T7CHP in PCM1024 on my HK 450. BUT then had a radio glitch resulting in very bad crash, which SHOULD NOT HAPPEN on PCM 1024. Testng on the bench I later found that FAILSAFE DOES NOT WORK. When signal is lost, all servos reset and throttle goes full. I give this 1 star because the whole point of having PCM1024 is the failsafe and the ability to keep servos in last position.

Picked up one of these for my Trex500. Using a 9CHPSuper in PCM 1024 with it. Works fine. Has a sync light for easy setup. The instructions are hilariously bad but I managed to figure it out.

One star removed due to it losing PCM sync with the Trex500 whenever I rubbed the heli with a metal screwdriver. Must have caused enough nearby noise to affect the RX. Takes a second or two to reacquire after such a loss. No failsafe as far as I can tell.

You may be very disappointed when you first get this receiver and try to set it up using two different manuals included with the receiver.

To make it simple.

1. have the button pushed when you plug in the power. If the red light isn't solid on, then you need to start again.

2. press the button one time, fast click and the receiver will start to scan, may do many fast flashes and will finally get to your frequency and turn blue.

3. Hold the button down till you get a solid blue light.

That's it.

There is another setting series to set the digital output frequency. Perhaps from the above you can reread the manual and figure out how to set it.

Very poor range compared to stock Futaba PCM receiver.

Lock out once at 300m otherwise OK up to 500m on 20 flights.

Tested this RX against stock Futaba R129DP at the same time, with the same transmitter. With the RX antennas pointed straight up starting at 5 feet and going to 8 feet and the Futaba 7UAPS transmitter antenna completely collapsed and through a small stand of trees the R129DP got 1200 feet. R9000S and no trees got 200 feet.
