Just tested and works at 8.5V (but the limit is there, at 8.6V or more it's broken)

Here are some test results for those who interested.
It isn't easy to measure the current because of the changing color all the time but these are the results.
3.5V 5mA-20mA
5V 50mA-65mA
6V 70mA-110mA
7V 80mA-120mA
8V 85mA-130mA
There is actually no need to go to 8V. 6V will give about the same amount of light. The only thing you get it more heat.

Very good lights. Two different flash patterns. One is flasing all 3 colors: RED, GREEN, BLUE. The other pattern is slowly fading onto each color: RED, GREEN, BLUE. It works with my 7.2V 20C LIPO. Just connect to a servo plug. No resistors needed. Works straight out of the package.

all mine popped on 7 volts.........these are not 8.5 volt lights, if you exceed 6 volts you will pop them!

As you can see from picture comes with negative and signal wire reversed , worked really well at 6v , at 8.4v , as recommended , death was instantaneous
