Well covered but the wood is very very poor.... this model is similar at the Nieuport ElectricFly but don't is the same thing. The fake motor must be assembled, is in two parts and must be retailed and coupled, not happy works.
I'm very scared from attachment points of landing gear.

Got this HobbyKing Nieuport and finished with the help of the Greatplanes manual.
First of all, this is not the same one from Greatplanes. This is a copy at half the price, but prepared for half of what would get overall... for example;
Wing color is milky white vs original is silver.
Finished weight is 800g vs 650g, I use zippy 3C-1600mA, 5x HTX500 servo (2 for aileron, 2 for elevator,1 pull-pull for rudder), fc pushing rods (not metal), Spektum R600 RX, 1000KV 180W motor, 20A ESC, Turnigy 10x6 wood propeller.
Two blue/red plastic/rubber wheels are very heavy, around 80g!
No pilot, I added a hobbyking 10 g pilot
The engine is two piece of vacuum plastic; have to glue together than cut it yourself, no details. Have to repaint it.
Wheels mount is not fit have to blend to the right angles to make it work.
To match the thrust angle of the motor the cowl is made to one side bigger than the other, but way too much, it end up having not parallel to the propeller.
After shipping save $50 on the plane only, but put up a lot of work.
Will report more after maiden flight.

Great little war bird landing gear is rubbish and have to know your basics to build her .Recomended Hkscm12-15 servos don"t actually fit ok if you don"t mind the monocoat bulging on the wings and cutting out the fuse servo tray .In all still worth the effort; cheap at half the price. Thanks HobbyKing.

Arrived minus some parts. Agree on undercarriage, is s**t. Flies nice, hangs it's tail a bit in turns though. Looks fantastic in the air. Needs a rebuild on lower wing now, after a bump.

Great little plane, beautiful finish and flys like a dream.

Installed recommended motor (NTM 28-26 1000KV-and prop but was underpowered (live at 1800ft AMSL) so this is a common problem.

Put on the NTM35-30 1400KV and now is a joy to fly, only needs half throttle to leap into the air.

Cog was difficult but the heavier engine helped. I ended up velco and strapping a 1300 3C nanotech in the engine bay below the engine (which just fits at the bottom of the engine cowling,((the cowling does not go all the way round))

Langing gear is rubbish, I broke mine trying to install, so used a single piece alloy one that i had spare. (from an extra 300)

A very nimble flyer, I will be buying a spare as it is soo much fun!

What a nice little model. Mine arrive from the UK warehouse in 24 hours along with a Turnigy SK3 2826 980Kv motor and some HK10 gram servos, the white digital ones, HKSCM9-6 Singlechip Digital Micro Servo (6V) 10g / 1.6kg / 0.07s (UK Warehouse) they seem like an ideal servo for this model. The model goes together easily but is missing the pushrods as others have reported and the gunmount needs to be fabricated from thin wire, nothing that the target audience that this model is aimed at would have any difficulty with. With my set up, using Turnigy Nanotech 1300 packs and a 10x4.7 apc slowfly prop the model flys beautifully and needed only 3 clicks of downtrim to maintain level flight, it's an absolute delight in the air and really captures the spirit of the real thing. But be aware it does get bounced around in a breeze which makes landings "interesting". A nice model for the price, I would buy another in a heart beat.

arrived intact with no damage but incomplete, had to supply my own push rods and quite a few screws. No gun mount so had to make mine out of toothpicks. No instructions either. or cockpit coaming.
Bottom wing was not square and that took some time to rebuild.
Took my time but plane finally came together and I maiden today. Flies well at half throttle and 22/28 motor 30amp bec and 1000mah 3s. Handled the wind well though like most biplanes very twitchy in a breeze. Landings were so so with under carriage bending up, may have to stiffen it up later. Take off was just fine, controlled and easy.
Once together the plane is a treat but I gave only 2 crowns for Quality due to parts missing and no instructions. The Great Planes instructions were quite OK to use. Plane came together for just over a $110 so all in all not bad.
