I bought 4 of this receiver, only 1 work. The other 3 has a brownout issue and crashed my brand new plane. Always do range test first before flying and don't use the receiver if it failed on range test. I already crashed my plane before I learned this. I hope this will not happen to others. The good thing is hk gave me credit points for all 3 that have failed. Unfortunately I crashed my aircore airframe because of it.

Nice little receiver, I've bought a few of these. The HK micro 1.7g servos plug straight in (micro-Molex 'picoblade' connectors) and the pin assignments are shown on the label of the Rx so you can check that your servos match the pinout.

Beware the relatively high minimum operating voltage for 1S applications - I've used these in gliders, with just the servo loads to worry about, and had no problems at all with brownouts or range on 1S, but if you're also driving a motor, most ESCs don't cut the throttle until the voltage drops to around 3.0V, and this Rx is only specified to run down to 3.6v.

HK sell a voltage booster that can (allegedly) supply about an amp at 5.0v from 1S, but if you want to supply the receiver via that and the servos/ESC straight from the LiPo, you'll need to sort out level matching on the signal connections. For 1S powered models with motors, the SuperMicro range of receivers sold by HK now include some DSM2 models with built-in ESC etc, which cost more but probably work out simpler.

Overall, these little receivers are brilliant value and perform very well.

A fantastic little RX! I used this, paired with Hobbyking 3A Single Cell ESC (Product=11885), to convert a Ky0sh0 minium warbird which had numerous TX/RX issues. Was fairly close to a PNP refit.

This receiver is worthless. It's impossible to bind the receiver to a Spektrum DM8 HF Module. I tried 2 different R415 without success. After long brainstorming with other users I can exclude all other error sources.
