Best plane for the money! Great starter (start with a simulator to orient control reflexes)...hard to break even if driven into the ground...prop comes off (I hand launch and grass land...most times with the prop coming off). Damage sensitivity is reduced if landing gear is removed...particularly remove tail wheel.

Great park flyer...so light and quiet no one cares - not even parents...most spectators cheer us on and want the details on how to buy it.

Transmitter readily switches to Mode1 or Mode2.

The P51 has more diehedral than the P47 or Yak, along with the most streamlined fuselage...it is the easiest to fly initially (but does more open barrel rolls). The Ultra Micro's do acrobatics and fly 10 minutes.

I have owned three four nine eagles planes, and this is by far my most favorite in the line because its the most stable in the air. The other nine eagles are jittery and hard to maintain level flight, but this baby stays level and makes clean turns without a hitch. I would recommend this one over the other nine eagles planes of this size because of its stability in flight and all around fun factor. I sold off the other three planes online after flying this once, so that should tell you how much I love flying it.

Absolute joy to fly, its fun, fast, and durable. I did not like it at first until I learned to fly it, because its a lot different to fly then my other planes. First off the controller does not allow for any expo or dual rates, second its very manueverable so you have to be super gentle on the controls or else you will crash it quickly, third MAKE SURE YOU APPLY UP ELEVATOR ON EVERY TURN WHEN USING EITHER RUDDER OR AIELERON otherwise it will turn nose heavy in the direction your turning and start spiralling towards the ground, and the engine is not strong enough to pull you out, IF you apply up elevator on all turns you will never have this problem and enjoy great flights. Also, lose the wheels, belly land each time because the wheels are too small for proper landing and slow the plane down in the air.

This is one of the most stable Nine Eagle plane there is.

I agree with Donald's review.

Those ultra micros planes are not for beginners. Get at least 2 spare batteries and a Nine Eagle charger as I did and you will enjoy flying these planes.

Take a little 5 minute break between each flight so that you can stay focused and concentrated this will help you to keep this plane in a single piece. Always land facing the wind direction. I have flown this plane 10 times now and I haven't break anything on it yet.

I would recommend the P-51 more then the Spitfire for it's stability.

I have this plane along with a Spitfire and I must admit that the P-51 is more stable then the Spitfire when you try to fly level. This plane will do loops fine even with winds up to 8 kph. But it does not do nice rolls. The rudder is useless wich is a shame. But it's alot of fun to fly anyway.

It's a real bargain but be aware you get what you pay for.

It's not built with top quality in mind but it does the job. The servos are a bit slow to react, all nine eagles planes have the same servos. They could be faster and have more torque. They are not what you would expect it to be. Compare the spare servos from Nine Eagles with other brands and you'll see what I mean. It takes about 2 seconds to travel form one end to the other.

If you break something and would like to replace the part with a new one you must be aware the the results will not be as satisfactory as one would expect because you will have to cut some pieces of foam to have an almost perfect fit. You won't get a perfect fit. I have replace the front wing (cellule) on the Spitfire and it was a bit hard to put the push rod onto the wing horn as the whole was not large enough. I also had to cut a bit of foam to place the servo in the right place. The pushrods don't have any adjustable turnbuckles so that you can play with the lenght.

Overall it's a good product and you will have alot of fun with it. This is o

Davvero un bel modello, vola bene con poco vento. Molto sensibile ai comandi ma davvero sorprendente. Atterraggi facilissimo.

It flys about the same as the Yak 54.....in other words, difficult. I thought it looked sturdier than the Yak, but I was wrong. A crash easily causes major damage to the foam body, but it is easily repaired and put back in action. Not for beginners. Great value. It is easy to hand launch. Throttle back when in the air and it's easier to control. I bought spare batteries and a charger.

The P51 arrived in a very secure package, with all needed batteries included. It appears to be a little more sturdy than my 9-Eagles Yak54, so it will survive crashes a little better. And I expect it to crash. These Ulta-Micro planes are not easy to fly, and they are not for beginners. However, they are an incredible bargain. They need fairly calm weather to fly. I removed the wheels, because I have no smooth concrete nearby, and they are easy to hand-launch and land in grass. The CG appears to be good. A spare prop is included, and the pop-off design stops prop damage when landing. The box it comes in is great for storing the plane, and for transporting. The battery recharges from the Transmitter, but I purchased spare batteries and a Nine Eagles charger, to make the transmitter batteries last longer. I hope to fly it tomorrow.
