Very goot glider (for price)

Nice glider for such money, but I find that bigger Phoenix (Evo 2,6m) flying much better and it is more forgiving.
Flying with 3Ah 3s 20C lipo it is little heavy and fly fast(it is good for high wind).
With 1.4Ah 3s 65C lipo it better gliding.
It has 4028 850KV motor and not Motor: Brushless 28 Size 1050Kv how it is in description..

The heating problems of the engine in previous version has been completely solved with the 4026 engine it came with!

This is my second Phoenix. I flew the heck out of my first one and loved it. For the money these are great gliders. They thermal well, and the motor and EC seem well matched. The big problem is that you have to assemble this without any instructions. Yes, an instruction book is included, but it worthless. It doesn't identify any of the correct screws to use, and there are dozens of parts you will have left over. The aileron servos were glued in place making installation of the servo horn difficult. If you install the optional flap servos, one of the supplied control rods will be too short, since, unlike the ailerons, the flaps operate in the same direction which requires one servo to be installed upside down making the distance to the flap control horn longer than the supplied linkage can accommodate. The screws that hold the tail assembly together are too long. If you don't trim them there will be play in the vertical stabilizer. I've put together dozens of RC planes, so I could figure out how this went together, but it's not a plane for a novice builder, or anyone who needs directions.

Sweet flyer

This is a very sweet flyer. I see some complaints about this model but it is great in all conditions and a very good glider. I have the flaps on a variable pot and being able to dial in a very small amount of flap when gliding really changes the floating ability. I have large throws on the ailerons so it is very responsive when required. Nothing to complain about for me. My favourite foam glider.

How about spare parts? Prop size? ESC setup instructions? Parts specifications?
Not bad overall for the buck. But a small wooden strip to join the wings ? ? ? Several things not all to well engineerd.
HK has yet to learn a few things, first and fore most to mind customer comments!

Great for floating around, even in strong winds

Got this glider some time ago. Prop adapter snapped when installing but I received a replacement part. Nice decals and it is a fun flier. On a 3s 2200Mah the COG is a bit off, battery should be placed almost against the motor.
Flies very nicely in strong winds, 30 minutes of flight is easily achieved. Motor is very quiet. Flaps do not add that much lift but it helps to slow it down for landing.

great way to get into electric glider

Good entry level glider flys well. spinner is a weak point would recommend upgrading but overall good value for the money
