The plane looks great, but underneath is poor quality construction. The servo bays are setup for micro servos. I was using mini servos and it took a lot of work to ream out the balsa to get them to fit. The problem was that it weakened the structure, so I had to cut back covering and add more balsa to strengthen the area enough to hold the servo properly. The tail wheel is so flimsy that it simply mushes back and forth - really cheaply made - will have to replace that. The wire between the elevator surfaces is so wimpy that one elevator surface moves significantly more than the other side. I haven't even flown this plane yet and I hate it already. The price is right, but you get what you pay for. Do not recommend at all.

Perfect modern conception . Covering is very well done on fuselage ,some wrinkles on the wings easily corrected with covering iron.
Excellent handbook makes assembly easy and faultless.
Wing panels+wing mounts strut assembly done , wing mating to the fuselage and wing struts mounting should be made at your workshop .Hardly recommended
Don’t intend or expect to do that at airfield .
Tires must be glued to wheels

Flight: a true pleasure , a real delight.
Très bel avion rétro, conception moderne parfaite. Entoilage très bien fait, qlqs plis sur les ailes facilement corrigés au fer.
L’excellent Manuel de construction permet un assemblage facile et sans erreur .
L’assemblage des ailes ,de la cabane et leur montage sur le fuselage ainsi que la fixation des haubans doit s’effectuer impérativement chez soi car sur le terrain c’est une vraie galère .
Les pneus sont à coller sur les jantes avec une colle néopren , en tt cas les miens ont 3 à 4mm de diam de plus que les jantes .
Le vol: un vrai Plaisir et un réel délice

The Motor has to much power for the plane
I am flying on 1/3 and 1/2 for the climb

CG is "ok" as with everything else you can totally go by the Handbook.
However I recommend CG at 75-78mm
And more down and right thrust for the Motor!

Plane is flying very good slow and fast but be warned it will tip stall on you!!!

For takeoff and landing:

Dont hammer on the throttle! Be gentle and the plane will so too
Landing it needs understanding. Remember it will tip stall if you pull to hard
Bring it in with a little power or bumb the throttle a few times on final
this helps it come down nice.

Build time about 6-10h if you want it perfect!

This is one of the nicest ARF's I ever bought. Covering job was perfect out of the box no wrinkles. Construction is light but strong. I converted mine to a saito .30 without a lot of trouble. Had to do a bit of bulkhead cutting to fit the fuel tank, then reinforced what I removed. Plane flys beautiful. Only complaint is I would like to be able to purchase extra covering in case of a puncture or accident but cant get any info from HK. JFudge
