I am just getting done printing my very first print and I am blown away coming from having a M3D printer. It has like 5x the build volume and It is much better quality. My very first print required almost no calibration. That is awesome. I am excited to dial it in and see what it will really do.

I got this about 3 weeks ago to print a bunch of stuff for an engineering project in college and I have to say, I'm really happy with it. For the price you get some great printing capability and honestly some very decent quality prints. The printer itself is a little plasticy but it feels plenty sturdy enough for DIY use. If you're looking to print really small, detailed stuff this may not be ideal, but for the prints I was making (4" plus) this was perfect (and SO CHEAP!) I was also positively surprized by the strength of the parts. The parts do seem to come out stronger if you use sllightly more expensive PLA like Hatchbox.
I can definitely recommend this printer if you're trying to get into 3D printing your own stuff!

I got this printer about a month ago, with the intent of making parts for my many model airplanes that replacements are hard to come by. Well, I got on thingiverse, and downloaded a few files, and started using Cura. Only problem was my fault, as the files specified 3mm filament, and this printer uses 1.75 mm. I ended up with holes in my prints, and quickly found out that I had to change the settings in Cura to 1.74mm, and everything has been good since. Yes, you have to tinker, but myself, as a novice managed to get it working perfect. And it has a huge bed for the price! I made a replacement cowl for my 61" Me-163 on this thing.

This is one of the best investments I've made, ever. The time from getting the box to printing was less than an hour. If you have the proper files saved, you can be printing with only three mouse clicks. Calibration was scary easy. This machine has been running almost nonstop for a week with no problems at all. Can't say enough about how great it is. Just buy one and be amazed... drive your friends nuts telling them how awesome your new printer is...

great printer, i have used it every day for the past week, running just about all day and night. the prints are great but i didnt figure out how to enable support for the first print so it was a bit odd. i skipped the test print(s) which wouldn't have shown the lack of support but its printing fine now!

I ordered this printer as my first 3D Printer. For the price it's not too bad, but there are some issues. I have it printing quite well, but I have had to spend hours tweaking and adjusting it, and experimenting with slicer settings. I have made some modifications to mine. I adding a heated bed, added a cooling fan with duct pointing at the work, and I have replaced the end blocks on the Y Axis (see thingiverse thing ID 995185). I replaced the blocks for two reasons: 1 - they broke the first time I put any pressure on them when trying to remove some jammed filament. 2 - They rocked back and forth as the Z-Axis moved up and down, causing some artifacts in the fine detail of the sides of the prints. Also disappointing is that the included reel of filament is nowhere near 1Kg as advertised. It's more like 500g. I weighed the spool after a couple of very small prints that could not have weighed more than 20g total. Including the spool, it weighed 600g.

It also has some trouble maintaining the temperature of the extruder. I usually have to bump up the temp a few degrees above the target temperature to get it to maintain the target temp.

If I were to do it all over knowing what I do now, I'd have paid a little more and bought something better quality.

Quite impressed, almost fully built out of the box. After setting up everything it works like a charm. We use this for quick prototype parts in the shop.

All supplied software also works. we use Sketch Up to design then export as an .stl to the slicer. Its perfect for our uses and it runs about 15-20 hrs a week with no issues so far. Does not have a heated print table but can be added. We use blue painters tape. NO issues with curling for the parts we make on the fly for UAV development

I am new to the 3D printing world and this is a good introduction.
I had the printer set up and printing within a couple of hours of receiving it.
The manual is a little lacking but information is available online for the slc3r software.
I would consider the print quality average at best as there are a lot of artifacts left over after printing. These can be reduced by playing with the parameters in the configuration; hence the need for the slc3r manual.
The accuracy and resolution is variable due to the plastic construction. I notice the Z axis wobble a bit while it is moving due to the lead screws not supported at the top.
The Z axis screws are imperial 13 TPI according to my pitch gauge, and this makes it impossible to set the layer thickness to a multiple of Z axis pitch so this is part of the cause for the artifacts on the Z axis.
Overall this is a good starter machine for the price.

This machine works quite well. And as my fellow Canadian friend says, it ships quite fast.
The belt on the Y axis needed tightening. Got to print the first file on the flash drive supplied and all was nice. The side wall was brittle as if the layers did not stick properly to one another. I increased the temperature by 8 C and now I'm printing very strong parts.
I had an issue with the extruder jamming and I replaced the barrel with one from An MK8 extruder which has a PTFE liner inside. Do not use the barrels that have a liner straight trough as they will not work. the liner will lift up and cause a jam. The MK8 barrel has a liner toward the hotend only. The printer has limit switches. Check your Z height before each job using the test sheet. The frame is surprisingly sturdy and once the Slicer settings are good, it prints very well. If your computer is hooked-up to the internet, it will ask you to update Slicer to the new stable version. Be careful and note where your printer, extruder and filament settings are before you do this. If you are not familiar with 3D printers, it is best to say no to the update as the printer works very well out the box.
Look at the slicer tutorials on youtube so you can fine tune your printing preference to your liking and your needs.

Best regards from Saint-Jerome Quebec.

I can't believe the value of this printer!

Was shipped ridiculously fast - ordered it to Canada on Sunday night, and it was here on Tuesday afternoon. I've never used a 3D printer before, but assembled it in minutes, installed software and calibrated easily and was printing a first 3D model within the hour... Seriously impressed!

I don't have much to compare it to, since it's the first time I use a 3D printer - or even see one in action. But this is really amazing. Accurate, somewhat fast 3D prints, for very little money, even comes with a full spool of filament! Printed 4 models so far, and all came out great.
